hey there- im august 13th!!! I've got the hall, the band, photographer and video, and BM dresses- Im still looking for invitations but hope to do that this week. My dress is being made- YAY August!

I am with you on the baby steps...but still in the searchfor the gown and the DJ. These particular two things have been a bit harder than I thought...hopefully by this weekend the dress and DJ will be found.

I did add one more completed item. I am pretty sure I found the bridesmaid dresses. We will see once I pick out my dress.

Just a mini update on my last post...booked the dj and found my dress. This saturday I am finalizing details for the bridesmaid dresses. I finally feel like I am catching up.

I'm new to this whole chat thing - but this is great! Our wedding is being held at the Huntington Townhouse in Long Island. I'm behind on some things, but the things I have so far are:

Ceremony and Officiants (Interfaith)
Reception
DJ
Honeymoon in Hawaii
Picked out bridesmaid dresses
Finally finished my invitation list with all addresses
Website (http://www.pareswedding.com)
(Almost finished)

No bridal gown yet ... I know. I guess everyone beats you up for that. I'll have to figure something out. I want to lose weight before getting a dress because if I go try on dresses with my mom, she'll just call me fat and tell me to get into shape and she'll just got all upset that her litttle girl is not keeping up with herself :(

Oh well...

My fiance does not like wedding planning and has made that very clear. So I am kinda on my own.

I saw somewhere that you guys get together or whatnot? Is this true?

I have all my major vendors booked (or so I think). Now on to the little things, which seem to be more stressful. I am leaving for England in four days, and won't be back until 8 weeks before the wedding. WOWSERS!

I can't believe it is under 7 months already...I guess I still think it is 7 months since my wedding date is the end of August, just like yours SIBride06.

I still got a few things to do...but I can't wait for our wedding month to get here.

Victor booked our DJ last weekend, and now all the 'majors' are booked.

I had a hair and make-up trial on Tuesday.

our website is up and running!

bought the fabric for our DIY table runners.

STD's go to print next week

I think thats about it.
