Invitation shopping is actually what I am up to this weekend. Still no florist though. I should get moving on that.

I am not doing the precana weekend but tonight is our first night of a series of 5 for precana. We will see how it goes.

itslaurie- your paper products are beautiful!! I went the DIY route as well. My FSIL is a graphic designer and designed our invitations and reply cards. We are having them letterpressed and are pricing out printers now.

I have my (hopefully) final hair/make-up trial on Sunday! Wish me luck!!

Can't even believe..almost 5 months away
We just finished precana, it really wasn't terrible.
We are onto invites, calligrapher and limos
We have our tasting on Sunday..can't wait for that

hi everyone. Well Pre-Cana is over for us....it was for like 5 weeks, 2 hours each session ugg. We have to go to a mass tomorrow. Our proofs came in for the invitations!! We have a lot left though...we have to finish registering, pick out rings, figure out centerpieces, hotel accomodations, bridal att. gifts, hair/makeup..the list goes on. I am enjoying the planning because 5 months will be here before we know it!!!!! I am scheduling a trial (hair/makeup) with Spa Osio in Oceanside....anyone have experience with them??

wow, thanks so much! My FH is a graphic designer - and we did design them ourselves.

They were inspired by the invites on this site: http://www.studioapril.com/. They have beautiful designs.

I also finished Pre Cana on Sat. I actually liked it. Friday was a mass and then Sat. was the workshop - I guess thats what you can call it. The couple we had were funny and if you have it in Douglaston they serve good lunch!!
