Well I also have an A and B list, so if I put my response date too early, I am afraid of not being able to send more out in time...I am confused!!!

My wedding is on August 20th. I am sending out invitations by June 10th with a July 20th response date.

Hi date twins Did you girls order your invites yet? I finally found ours yesterday, and plan on ordering them later this week. I was planning on sending them out around June 10th, with a response date of July 20th.
And, I think I found shoes..but haven't bought them yet.
Have you gone for your 1st fitting yet?

HI AUGUST GIRLS!!! I jsut wanted to say that I am at my FOUR MONTH MARK TODAY!! sooooooo scary I feel liks I have so much to do!

Question for ItsLaurie and any other aug bride really...but what is your invitation timing? I was plannign on sending them out min-end of May with a July response, but I dont knwo when!!! Any thoughts!!!

I am planning on mailing ours out at the end of May with a July 9th response date.

i picked July 9th because July 19th was exactly one month and that sounded too close so I deducted another 10 days and that seemed to make sense in my brain. I wish I had a better explanation! But that is it.


I love your centerpieces Catherine. . And as far as officiant goes, we really like ours and she's raved about on 2 other message boards. Let me know if you need info.

We are sending ours out the middle of June with a response date of July 19th. I hope thats not too close. We don't have a B list but we are hoping we get a lot of Nos because we have wayyyyyy too many people on our list. I should have though of the B list before I ordered the invites!

I would love to see pics of what you ended up deciding! As for the neverending list of things to be done ... I have a feeling you are right. We will all be happily married women still alking about what we still haven't finished for the wedding.

I will have to show you what I will be doing once I make an appointment for it.

I am sending my invites June 25th and RSVP date of July 26th. I don't have a B List though.

I still haven't gotten shoes, but I haven't been able to concentrate 100% on wedding stuff this month. Next week I will start dealing with the wedding details again.

Yeah thats good, avg. person sets the RSVP date 4-6 weeks prior.

Thanks ladies! I am going to order the invites May 1st -- it will take two weeks to get here from India and then I figur another two weeks to get them back from the calligrapher, so that should get them back in time for me to mail out.

Woohoo girls half of us have reached our 4 month mark

This is what I have left to do:

-Finalize any missing addresses
-Veil Fittings w. my aunt
-Sisters Present
-Fitting for my Dress
-RB Pillow and gift
-FG hair accesory and gifts
-Gift for my Jr. GM (FI son)
-CP Sample appt (may)
-Send Invites out (end of may)
-Reserve Hotel
-HM shopping
-Meet w. Videographer for Montage (select songs & pics)
-Final meeting with Emcee
-Meeting with BM (cake, finalize menu, direction cards)
-Select reading for Dove Release
-follow up on HM hotel construction
-Pay off all the vendors

Sh*t I thought I didnt have much to do

The latest I would send invites in second week in June. You want ppl to get the invites atleast a month before the RSVP Date.

I am sending mine out end of May because my RSVP date is 6 weeks before (7/10/06), this is early.
