What I have left...

- Print my invitations (my DYI project)
- Review ceremony outline with reverend
- give ceremony outline to pianist and pick music
- pick music for reception
- start fittings in June
- Get veil (I already know what I want!)
- Pick jewerly
- Buy candy/chocolate for favors (have boxes already)
- Print placecards once I get the final invites back
-Give list to photographer for a few 'must do' photos
- meet with hall on final menu (end of July)

I think that's it!!!

August is HOT! Let's see the invites should be arriving this week and i still have not gotten the 'final' guest list back from the in-laws. Still need shoes, veil, hair accessories and my maid of honor still does not have a dress. (No bridal party - only MOH and 4 flower girls). I just keep thinking of all the things to do and the last weeks and start feeling like I'm going to mess up somehow.

Don't feel so bad...I am sure you can get it all done. Take it one day and task at a time. That way you won't confuse things.

You are not alone either, I am in the same boat as you...I am still waiting for my invitations (proofs finally got approved), need to get limos, tuxes, and all the minor details for the actual wedding day - bridal accessories, bridal party gifts, favors, and I am sure other things that I have forgotten.

After reading this, I think I might be in trouble. Just might have to take my own advice.

Hello fellow August brides!! I'm really starting to get crazed..I feel like the only one who hasn't ordered their invites yet I had my 1st wedding nightmare last night, about invitations! Crazy, right?
Do all of you have your invites yet???

Yeah, they were my first big purchase, even before my dress!! But I am freaking about sending them out in time!

ordered the invites - they should be arriving this week. Don't worry, it shouldn't take more than 2 weeks to receive them once ordered. i wish this thread were moved to the main BHB page? I keep having to search to find us. I still need

hey carissa - have you gone to flower michele for a sample CP yet?? im dying to go - but they said it should be 2-3 months before.. all these others girls (from other florists) go before then though..

i finalized my guest list and will send to inkspun next week..

i need shoes - are you girls getting open or closed toe??

You can go before if you like. Call and make an appt - I am going end of may and my wedding is a week after yours!! Technically it will be 3 months.

Mary b, I am actually going to FM this week...I'm really crazy and I think I might want to change my CP's..for all the money that it's costing I think I want 'more'!
And, I'm wearing open toe with the heat in August etc. I think that would be good!
