I just got my envelopes back and they look amazing! My calligrapher did my 130 envelopes in literally one day and I couldn't be happier. Her name is Janice and her number is (718) 740-1399. She lives in Queens on the border of Nassau so I chose to fedex everything form the city (I was a sport since she charges so little to begin with!). For hand calligraphy she charges $1.50 per envelope and $2 for inner/outer set. I almost fainted when found her b/c I know people paying $4-5 per set elsewhere for the same work! Tell her Andrea sent you
Another hand calligraphy vendor - charges $1.50 per set! Pat, her number is 516-679-9036
Cal Lee Graphy
Oceanside, NY
(516) 678-1415

She's $3.00 per set (pics in bio)

I was planning to send out invites in mid-may. Is that too soon? I was afraid if I waited till June people would start going on vaca. Girls, I still have NO flowers.![]()

Please say a prayer that someone will talk some floral sense into me!

I don't know, but I know I'm having one. My BM's have it all planned and all they would tell me is that naked men are NOT out of the question, so we'll see.....

Re: Official August 2006 Thread. Come on in.
I've finally starting getting some things done. Booked the HM flights. Picked a limo, although haven't left the deposit yet. Sort of picked invites although I am doubting them. Chose my centerpieces but I have to buy vases. Um....I thought I did more than that but oh well!

Re: Official August 2006 Thread. Come on in.
At this rate, by the time it is the end of the day we all will realize how much more we forgot that needs to get done.
I know for me, even with all my lists, I am adding something that I forgot to take care of....
we still have some major vendors to book and hopefully next month we can do tuxes and limos...but we will see how that pans out.
Catherine that centerpiece is so cute and very original. How did you think about doing something like that?

Re: Official August 2006 Thread. Come on in.
Thanks! Isn't it nice to have the flower drama over?? I saw the cp in a european bridal mag and my florist was the only one that could recreate it w/out costing me my first born.
I would love to see pics of what you ended up deciding! As for the neverending list of things to be done ... I have a feeling you are right. We will all be happily married women still alking about what we still haven't finished for the wedding.
Anyway, here's a big
to my August girls!
