Hi August Brides!

This weekend has been productive! My peach coloured rb pillow arrived and my FI surprised me with my wedding shoes .... Carolina Herrera's for Mahnolo Blahnik! I LOVE them and they match my dress well!!! Plus we paid off our hall!

Thank god something is coming together as I am stil in floral hell.

Well here I was hoping to copy you once you decided. hehehe I haven't really decided on anything yet but for my white bk and the FH's white boutinere. The colors I have to work with is cranberry and I am trying to avoid having all the flowers be pink (No offense to those who love this color) and to not look like fall foliage. Though the place I went to yesterday gave me some ideas about how to break up the wines and pinks so it wouldn't be so drastic. I think I am close to deciding on something I just can feel it.

What are your colors, maybe I can help? Though figuring I am not a flower fanatic, I am not sure how much that help would be.

Maybe some of you other brides can tell us how you chose your flowers? It might help us out.

I had a productive weekend too

FH bought his tux, I visited the bridemaid dresses (which I fell in love with again), and we bought our wedding rings!

got my shoes! they are nina, i got them at dsw, they have a great selection.

we are waiting for the invites to come in, should be any day now. we are looking at hotels to block rooms, went to marriott uniondale and garden city hotel, no one was there at gch to speak to, so we have to call.

other then that, things are slow

Instead of desperate housewives we are desperate brides! The bm are in peach ... don't ask me how that ended up happening since I ADORE wine color dresses. Maybe nutella you and I can just put some pics in a hat and pick one out for the both of us and matching be damned!

Dress! - I get to 'visit' it this weekend!

Hair

Well..i guess i need makeup. that just dawned on me. And favors -- but i know what i want. And me and my aunt are making placecards.

This weekend: I got my shoes, finalized bridal shower list, bought BM jewelry, booked meet and greet w. Photog and Video.

I stopped keep a list.

it is crazy because I am the list queen. I make lists just to have something to cross off a list. I enjoy it.
