Hi Ladies,

Just wanted to share that tuxedo place has been picked and we will be booking limos tonight. Two more things gone. Next week begins the adventure of putting together invitations.

This weekend will be a wedding free weekend. I can not wait. I need the time off from planning.

What is everyone else doing?

Congrats! We stll have to go for tuxedos. We just haven't had the time.. Its terrible!

We are moving into our apartment this weekend. I'm also going to shop for a veil and pick up FH's wedding band from the jeweler. (I got mine already.. the sizing was off with his ring, so it had to be adjusted (sp?) While at the jeweler, I have to look for a gift for my MOH too.

My to-do list:

Pick up ring
MOH gift
Best men/groomsmen gifts
Tuxedos
Programs (Need to pick out readings)
Hair/makeup trials
Complete wedding jewelry ensamble (nned bracelet)
Bring in wedding shoes to get dyed to match my dress.
DIET!
Wedding rice (need to wrap in tulle)
Finish printing out envelopes & stuff invites
SEND OUT INVITES!
DIET
Undergarments
Pick out photos for photo montage
Write out rehersal dinner invites (We are all booked for the rehersal dinner)
Finish shopping for honeymoon
My bachelorette party... Miami WOO Hoo!!
Write out placecards

That should be it for now.. Im sure there is more (of course!)

That must be exciting to move into your new apartment. Congratulations and good luck with the move.

Your list looks as long as mine, and I have diet and exercise on there myself. It is amazing how getting ready for a dress can make you want to look your best.

I have to learn to drink more water...any advice on how to do that?

That must have been exciting. You really looked suprised in those photos.

I see that you are like me and were anti-suprise bridal showers. I don't like them either, and my mother is still planning it as a suprise. I am making it a bit hard for her though. I am terrible I know but I hate to be center attention and suprises...I am odd. But hey if they can suprise me then I will have to tip my hats to them.

Yes!!! Dont drink ICE COLD water.. Drink it slightly cooler than room temp. Believe me.. You will drink more that way!

I think I am sending out my invites this week. Just moved into my new condo that I closed. Very happy now that most of my moving in is done (even though there are boxes everywhere)...I can continue on with this wedding stuff.

I mailed my invites out on Monday already what a relief....
I sent them so early because I have a 6-25-06 rsvp date and I want to get started as soon as I can with the seating arrangements. I just booked some tables and chairs and a tent for our rehearsal dinner the day before a bbq at my mom's house. I'm getting soooo excited its right around the corner girls....

Where did you get the tent from. We are having a bbq the next day at my house, but in the event of rain a tent would be very useful! Never though of that

Girls, I am soooooooo behind on the invites. I don't think my invites will go out until the second week of June b/c I miscalculated how long it would take to get everything all turned around!!! urrgghhhh!! I have an RSVP date of July 10th --- are people going to think I am a loser that doesn't know proper etiquette!

Also, my BM dresses were supposed to be in last week Monday and they are not here. I call the shop everyday and she gives me the run around and says she called them, but they don't answer and she leaves messages. I called Jim Hjelm and found out that she is not a registered buyer with them and now I am freaking the hell out!! She is well known on this site so I don't want to put her on blast, but ***!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I still have to do:

wedding bands
aisle runner
meet with florist and change color scheme (he is gonna love that)
buy fg dreses
book hotels
pay for hm
make programs
complete place cards
petal cones

Am I forgetting anything??? On the upside, I did book an officiant and vocalist. :) Someone help me!

Just read your post. Sorry to hear about your bridesmaid issues...did you ever get a straight answer? I hope things will work out.

I am working on:

Assembling and addressing a whole bunch of invitations.
Ordering and Shopping for Day of Essentials - garments, shoes, lip gloss (can't seem to find the right color)
Ordering BP Gifts
Music for the Ceremony
All appointments to finalize details with vendors.
Marriage Liscense (when the time comes)
And anything else that will come up.

Hope you ladies had a great weekend. BTW, Janice, congrats on the bridal shower...glad to hear you had fun.

I had my Bacheleorette Party... It was so much fun - went to Puerto Rico for the weekend.

My sister also mailed my invites out on Sat. I had stuffed them, addressed them and assemble the week before. It took 8 hrs... We finished at 4am. It was me, FI and MOH - its sucked and we were delirious -
