Can't even believe how the time is FLYING!! OMG!
Well, I'm happy to say that I have done a lot over the holiday break..
I booked my florist last night..Flower Michele
I had my makeup and hair trial,we got our wedding bands, finalized our placecard choice, narrowed down the HM, and registered.
AND..we start pre-cana on Sunday
I think I'm on my way...

just an FYI for August hotel blocks.

I just spoke with the Hilton Garden Inn (Islip) they told me the discounted rate for August is $139. The group rate is honored up until the day of the event.

5 -Need to get: Toasting flutes, Pillow/FG basket

7 -Get Materials for Veil, shoes, undergarments
8 -Invites/ Guest list
9 -Bridal Shower List
10 -Select Songs & Pictures for Montage


Save up enough moula to pay for it

You guys really put me to shame. So far we have the church and hall...and have signed up for pre-cana. We are signing the DJ contract today, but I don't have anything else done...not even my dress!

Hey Date Twin.. We are just early birds.. But now its crunch time. So start dress shopping and booking. Atleast you have the two major components for a party - Music and the venue!!

Well don't feel bad, I am in the same boat. I am still looking for my dress. Been to two stores and still cant make up mind. Hopefully the end of next week the dresses will be done. But I would start looking. I hear it takes longer for a bride's dress than the bridesmaids.

I am getting married August 18th. I think Pedestals is a great florist and flowers by brian is great too. I went to -And I quote- today to order my invitations, Elaine, the owner, is absolutely wonderful!!
