THE VIENNESE HOUR IS AMAZING. THEY GET ALL THE DESSERTS AND THE WEDDING CAKE FROM BUTTERCOOKIE BAKERY WHICH IS LOCATED DIRECTLY ACROSS THE STREET FROM THEM. HAVE YOU GONE TO THE BAKERY AND SAMPLED THE DESSERTS? PICKED OUT YOUR CAKE YET?

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
HiI got mamrried on OCtober 30th and our wedding was AMAZING!! Our guests are still calling telling us how unbelievable it was and they still cant get over all the food we had..
They packed up 20 trays of food for us..WE had stuff from CH and from the reception. When we arrived to the FT, we went straight to the bridal suite and our entire bridal party was ther already and they were stuffing there mouth with all the food that was up there for them. I made sure to let Marianne know that I wanted food waiting for them, since they would be starving,,,and that is just what they did. The dining room table in the bridal suite was covered with all the fish we had from the seafood bar...clams, shrimp, oysters, king cra legs, lobster tails!!!!!!! and they had hot trays of all the other food...
I am getting hungry just thinking of it...and the Viannese Hour...lets just say it is the perfect ending to a FANTASTIC evenoing at the FT!! and just when the guests think it ends there...as they leave they all receive a NY to go goody bag filled with hot peanuts, hot pretzel and coffee!!!

BELLA,YOUR WEDDING SOUNDED AMAZING. DO YOU GET TO GO TO YOUR CH? OR JUST IN THE BRIDAL SUITE? I DONT WANT TO MISS A MINUTE OF ANYTHING. I DIDNT GET THE SEAFOOD BAR BECAUSE WE WANTED TO DO THE VH. NOW I'M CONSIDERING DOING BOTH. I'M ALSO DOING THE NY TO GO WITH A BAGEL, COFFEE OR OJ AND THE SUNDAY PAPER.

We didnt have to goto the CH, since I informed Marianne that I wanted the staff to make sure we get a bit of all the food during CH ( which as you know is ALOT) We had a 1 1/2 hour CH, so in intervals the staff brought up trays of food. I also made a list of food that definitely needed to be in the bridal suite and they did. You wouldnt beloieve the amount of food we had in the bridal suite....There was no question on the seafood boat and the VH..we had to have both

I am praying that someone I kow decides to get married there..so I can go back!

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
Sounds like everything was amazing at your wedding! I am so happy for you and your husband. I am having the VH and I was thinking about just having the extra hour without the food since I want to spend the whole time dancing. Do you think we should keep the food for the VH or just have the extra hour without the food. Were there still people dancing during the VH?

I think there will still be people dancing - VH is set up in the foyer so it won't interfere w/the dancing. You'll have some ppl. who won't want any dessert so they'll be on the dancefloor!! IMO One of the many reasons that I fell in love w/FT is that the VH is in a separate room.
