Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

Hey ladies
i was looking at a pic that a friend gave me a copy and at the corner of the pic is my cake. See i thought i saw a cake stand. I guess if your cake is square there is no stand. But i had a round four layer cake. I know some of you ladies were talking about a cake stand.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

I've been checking out this thread, I saw Floral Terrace last week and we are thinking of booking it. After reading what everyone has said about it - our decision is getting firmer.

One question - do you know if the large white dais is removable. We would rather just have a table w/two chairs instead of the large white dais in front of us. Do you know if we can have that removed for our wedding or is it permanent?

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

I am doing low centerpieces just bc I didn't want to take away from the ambience of the room...I think the white high CP's would look great! I think bella11 did something similiar but not too sure!

Would love to see your pics from the showcase!!!

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

Mella46 - I'm having half high centerpieces and half low centerpieces. My flowers are shades of pinks and creams. I think white flowers would look very nice in the room.

chellynyc - you'll love the floral terrace. I'm not planning on using the dias either. I'm using a small round table. It can be moved.

Congrats to the recent Floral Terrace brides! Keep the pictures coming.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

I had high candelabra centerpieces with champagne roses and they looked gorgeous.......Either high or low will great in the room. Our candelabra's also had the candles and with the lights dimmed it looked very romantic and it emphasized the ceiling....

Again,,you cant go wrong with either choice

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

My taste testing is on Sunday - how does it work? Marianne said that they will put us in a bridal suite and a waiter will just bring us in food. But, do they bring us samples from the cocktail hr, dinner and then desserts? Just wondering what to expect.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

chelly
i felt the same way about tasting the ch food and not the dinner but let me tell you do not worry everything from the ch to the viennese hour is sooooooooooooooooooo good.
The dinner was so good i had the salmon (well some because you do not have time to eat) is was great. My hubbies had the rack of lamb and he said it was the best he had ever tasted.

Floral arrangement- i did half high and half low with orange and red roses and candles It was so beautiful. I think what ever flowers are put in the room it will look beautiful.
