Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
Yes, FH and I had a taste testing before we booked - we brought three other ppl. along w/us and the food was amazing. Everyone raved about it. It was an endless array of food from the cocktail hour and then some desserts that our personal waiter kept bringing into us - we were so stuffed. We booked that night!!!!

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
I'm not having it - and I didn't even ask about it. It's on the enhancement menu with a price per person fee - whether they'll throw it for nothing I don't know. I honestly think that by that point ppl. are going to be so stuffed that they won't even be able to look at more food. IMO

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
Oh, I read replies from people and a lot of them mentioned it, so I thought it was included. If it is not, then I will probably not add it. Although it sounds like a REALLY cute idea! I don't know. I want everything but unfortunately it all cost A LOT of money!

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
Your right about the $$ situation - more to hand out every corner you turn. Maybe you can talk to FT and convince them to throw it in for you or give you a deal on it - the worst they can say is no. FH and I didn't ask about it because we weren't interested - but it's worth a shot.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
Do you have an idea what florist you want to use? I saw Party Sensations flowers and they were beautiful, but I am def not ready to make a final decision yet.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
I don't know if I'm even going to do flowers - I need about 30 or more Centerpieces so I may go the candle route or the DIY centerpiece. I'm doing flowers for bouquets, etc - I'm going to get some quotes for centerpieces but I'm thinking it's more then I want to spend. I'm not going to focus on flowers until I pick the bridesmaid dresses. Your getting married a year before me so I'm sure you'll be making a florist decison way before me.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
Yeah I was thinking about doing candle's as well. My brother just got married Nov. 12 and he did candle centerpieces and the room looked amazing. Although flowers are beautiful, but when it comes down to it, the cost will def be the deciding factor. I have about 30 tables as well. About how many people are you having at your wedding? We are inviting about 285 people.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
We guaranteed 275 and are expecting about 300-350 to attend....so I'm looking for ways to cut costs and for me flowers is one of the ways. I think ppl. will walk out of FT saying how much fun they had and how great the food was - I don't think they'll be talking about the centerpieces. There are some candle and alternative centerpieces thread - you should check them out - I've gottnen a lot of ideas.

Thanks for the advise! You sound like me. I say that to Danny all the time. To me the church was the most important, then the reception, the music, and the photographer and videographer are the next important, and everything else does not matter AS MUCH to me. No matter what we chose, that day will still be amazing and we will remember it forever!!!

what time is your reception at FT?
We booked the cocktail hour to start at 6:00 for now, but may move it around depending on how much time the photographer is going to need in between church and FT.

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!
I am using Pedestals! Could not be happier...I am doing low centerpieces bc I wanted to save some $$. We are having about 170 people. We are not doing the NYC cart to go as it is extra plus we figured there was enough with the Vhour! Plus we are doing a brunch the next morning for all the OOT guests & immediate family!
