Ladies!!!!! I did my menu last night!

OMG what fun!!! It's SO real!!!

Arianthe my BM is the best!!! I love her!

I am So excited!!!! Any Dec FT brides.....Ladies it decorated SO beautifully for the holiday season!!!

Did anyone else hear how they were re-doing the foyer outside the reception hall (where the v-hour is). I saw it on another board.
Does anyone know when they are doing it??

I JUST READ ON ANOTHER BOARD THAT THEY WERE REDOING THE BATHROOM UPSTAIRS TO MATCH THE LOBBY BATHROOM, AND THAT THEY WERE REPLACING THE CARPET IN THE BALLROOM. I HOPE ITS DONE IN TIME FOR MY DAY.

The are doing that this winter and it should be done my March of 2006. That is what I was told anyway. I read that they are re-doing the bathrooms - does anyone know when that is going to happen?

OK LADIES, JUST CALLED MARIANNE. THE ONLY RENOVATION CONFIRMED IS THAT THEY ARE TAKING UP THE CARPET IN THE AREA BEORE THE BALLROOM (WHERE THE VH IS) AND PUTTING DOWN GRANITE. SHOULD BE DONE BY MARCH 06. SHE SAID THEY HAVE BEEN LOOKING AT CARPET SAMPLES FOR THE BALLROOM, NOTHING DEFINITE. AND SHE DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE BATHROOM RENOVATION.

PIZZ2306....OH SWEETIE, I'M SORRY, I DIDN'T INTEND FOR YOU GET NERVOUS. THIS WON'T AFFECT YOUR DAY AT ALL. THE HALL WILL LOOK JUST AS AWESOME AS IT DID THE LAST TIME YOU SAW IT. THE GRANITE FLOOR IS SUPPOSE TO BE DONE IN MARCH. FT WOULD NEVER LET A WEDDING HAPPEN WITHOUT A RENOVATION BEING 100% COMPLETE. RELAX, EVERYTHING WILL BE BEAUTIFUL. YOUR GETTING MARRIED IN 23 DAYS. I do not think that they would do any renovations when they have a wedding booked. I am sure they are going to start the renovations on a Monday and have it done by that Friday. It is not that big of an area, so it should definitely be done by your wedding!!! Don't worry, your day is going to be AMAZING

That sounds like a great renovation (the floors).

I am sure that they'll get it all done. I bet it's a one week activity.

Not to be a downer...but don't get your hopes up TOOO much..... sometimes halls think they are going to do something but it doesn't come to fruition! I've experienced that (

I agree - FT is beautiful. It looks great now, and whatever changes they do will only improve the hall, and make us love it that much more.

haven't done my final yet.... but i'll let you know. maybe pizz can answer.

i think we'd like to go to the bakery cause it's the only thing my FH really wants to do....pick out the cake.

Okay....two funny things. First, here is a pic of the carpet we are talking about:

and kissy and pizz and all my old time girls... don't forget about this PLEDGE from 1/19/05:

I am glad that they are painting. In terms of the lights... all of us Feb through April brides MUST MUST MUST remember to start badgering them (in a loving way) to keep them up for us. They usually take them down in the beginning of March...but George said that sometimes they keep them up.
