Re: ALL Swan Club Brides

Finally someone responded, My wedding will be in the Garden Room. Dan told me that my ceremony will be in the same place as the cocktail hour That's why I have a feeling that the chaffing dishes will be there covered with a table cloth I didn't think of that when I booked. Oh well. Has anyone seen pictures of their chair covers with a pink bow??? Thanks

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides

Also, what invitations are you ladies choosing? I don't want to go overboard with the swan theme, but for certain things I like it, i.e., invitation and cake top. P.S. If your looking for a cake top like the one I got in my picture FM me. I got a great price for it off of ebay.

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides

I'm in the same situation as you cuz we're having our reception in the garden room plus ceremony in the pavilion. I'm not crazy about the look of the linen they use to cover the chafing dishes.

I'm not using anything swan related...the theme will just be the colors pink and green.

Im concerned about two things.

1. Is anyone having their ceremony at the Swan Club? I saw in some pictures that they have the chaffing dishes out during the ceremony covered with white linen. It is visible when the bride is walking down the aisle. I just don't like the idea of that being the background for my pictures.

2. My second concern are the chair covers. I got my chair covers through the swan club because I was told that they no longer allow people to rent them from other vendors. I'm afraid that they won't look presentable. I've seen a picture that scares me. Is anyone else getting their chair covers through them? Do you know how it works? Do they allow you to see different styles or do they set how it will look like?

Wow, I can't belive that they told you that you have to use their people for the Chair covers, I used my own person and save a lot of money, I had my ceremony there but, I had the cocktail hour on the patio and the reception was in the Contess room. FM me if you want info on the chair cover person and also the price.

I just looked at your dates, why can't you have the cocktail hour outside, they have two separate area's to have it, UMM unless you are having a lot of quest, I had about 130

I think it's because they are having other weddings at the same time It didn't bother me as much at first until I realized that the chaffing dishes would be visible and covered up with linen.

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides

I hope I'm not confusing you guys. Is the pavillion the place closest to the Garden room or is it the place closest to the contessa? If the pavillion is the place closest to the Garden room both our ceremony and cocktail will be in the same location. That is why they will have the chaffing dishes there covered with the linen. Len.... Did the chaffing dishes come out in your photographs? Im wondering if it's avoidable. Maybe if the photographer takes the pictures at a different angle it won't be visible in the pictures.

My Ceremony was in the Pavillion, which is the long room that has the tulling and stuff, my cocktail hour was outside near the garden room. I don't know why would they have both in the same room. The only thing I had in the Pavillon room was the refreshment hour before the ceremony. Call them and ask them

Yeah, I'm planning to do review after the wedding

I'm not getting the arch thru Swan Club. I don't like the white flowers they use. I'm getting 4 pedestals instead (2 high and 2 low).

Weddings taken place in the Garden Room has their cocktail hr in the Pavilion. I think I'm may get my own fabric (green to match theme) to cover the linen they use.

Who are you going to get to put the fabric over the dishes? It sounds like a plan but would the florist do that?

Re: ALL Swan Club Brides

Also, How much time would the florist have to set for cocktail hour especially when the ceremony just finished? I thought about this today. Does the Swan Club put candles on the table for the cocktail hour?

Sorry, for the reception table nothing for the cocktail. I provided my florist with a heart shaped vase, he put one floating rose and petals around it
