Question: Does the Swan club allow a florist to decorate their arch or does the florist have to bring in their own arch to decorate???

I believe that you can bring in your own florist to decorate. I am not using their florist and i am having a Chuppah done by my florist!!

Who is your florist? I need to have a Chuppah done by my florist, too, since I wasn't super crazy about the one at the swan club (too floral for me).

About the arch. I called yesterday and they don't allow your florist to decorate their arch. Your florist would have to rent one for you. Which stinks because it's more money. I still don't have a florist. I have an appointment today and I really don't want to go. But I'm going to anyways. Maybe I'll see something that I like.

They do...my friend went to one when she was looking at reception halls about a year and a half ago

Ill throw in the Vendors I used...

LABlossom (Flowers) A++++++++++ BEST VENDOR AWARD!!!!!! She truly was the best. I wasn't a big flower person and had no idea what I wanted but Laurie changed all that! We told her our price and she came in under! She came to OUR house. We couldn't decide if we wanted tall or short centerpieces so she suggested half and half and I couldn't be happier with that decisision!





B R E TT MA T T HEWS!(Photography/Video) Wouldn't recomend!

Spin Around Sound (DJ) A+++++++ NO CHEESE NO GIVEAWAYS NO LIGHTS unless you want them and I did. I like Cheese They really do an awesome job!!!! People still say how awesome the Dj was.

Sir Oliver Limo B they only get a B because I couldn't get in touch with them the day of the wedding. My Bridesmaid left her Flowers in the limo. The limo pulled out of the lot when we realized it but we couldn't catch up to them! My DH also left his Movado watch case in the limo. So we called the company and get an answering machine. You'd think that the Phone would go to a Cell Phone or something if no one was in the office. How am I suppose to get in touch with you? Then at the end of the night we had a limo to pick us up. The guy was really late getting us but the swan club was great they sat there and talked to us. When the guy came we told him we were going to the Plaza in NYC and he was so P*ssed. I told the company that before the wedding day!

Some things about the swan club p*ssed us off. When we went to do our menu we met with Barbara. She was going to be our Matre D. My dad asked for certain liquors that we paid extra for. He asked for something that they told us 'don't worry we have that' The day came and we had to get a new Matre D Michael cause Barbara needed off. My uncle ordered that drink. The bartender told him they didn't have it. And pointed to Michael. Michael came over and TOOK out our contract and showed it to my Uncle! Thank god it was my uncle. He saw everything how much we paid the whole bit. Just be warned make them write everything down. Cause we were assured that would be there and it wasn't. We paid for different beer and jagermister so we would have paid for the liquor my uncle wanted! ALSO. They have a ramp. WELL they didn't tell the little old lady who walked with a walker who fell down the stairs going in and up the stairs coming out
I already talked about my pyramid cake that I hated!

Kathy is such a sweetheart! She did our invitations favors and girls jewlery! She was so nice!!! Her daughter did our Caligraphy for us Also Great!!! Definetly a Vendor to check out!

june262004 - Thanks for the review. Really appreciate you taking the time to let us know how it went. Sorry about the mishaps! I've heard some negative things about the same photographer. I have an appointment with Laurie in two weeks. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Pookiesangel- Let us know how the staff treats guests as soon as they arrive. I was wondering about that today.

Just a little happy thought:

We are all going to share our special day in the same location! We will all have memories of the Swan Club. Toast for great memories at the Swan Club YEAAAAAAAAAAAA
