A lot of ladies have been asking me for Pinina's information; and for some reason they've been getting nasty with me!

It just p's me off that they're getting something amazing for virtually nothing and still complain!!!!

nope, I decided on 2 dresses that I would to merge in to one super dress. I contacted another dress maker out of Long Beach, so we shall see what happens.

Christine, I think it's right that you shouldn't be the point person for brides who are having more-than-normal stress and questions.

For any new brides interested in going the route of getting a gown made by a dressmaker, please consider how much stress you like. There are a lot of unknowns. And if the dressmaker is in high demand, she is only one person. She works best the way she knows how. For a dress that is costing less, I think it's reasonable to let some things go.

Hello there! Welcome to the knock off thread.

I am going on Saturday for my first fitting, and not to be all bride-ie but I am pretty jazzed about it.

Here is a sketch of my dress that the dressmaker mocked up for me.
