Knock off invites are invites made by someone privately to resemble a company. My invites are knock-offs of Jean M invites.

I must be a knock-off *hore, b/c I am also doing knock-off invitations. I am stealing the scroll invite look and my friend, who is a graphic designer is designing them for me. she is also having them printed in Greece, so that will going to be much cheaper for me too!

She has her own design company and has fantastic stuff if anyone is interested. She lives in Astoria and will travel.

P.S. she also designs jewelry, so I am picking out pieces to be 'knocked-off' as well.

I'm going to be as fake as Pam Anderson! LOL

my poor friends are also doing my bm dresses- though I must take credit for that design...I 'drew' it myself, if you can call stick figures drawing! LOL

Jess you're not the only one knocking off invitations. I found an invitation I love but they company that made it does anymore. I'm going to have CreativeMontage.com make a similar version for me.

I am having a petal folder invitation made it would cost Total per invite: $5.93 each. Here is what it would include:

5.5x5.5 Pocketfold (non-metallic): $1.70 each
5.25x5.25 invite: $1.02 each
5.75x5.75 inner envelope: $.40 each6
.5x6.5 outer envelope: $.47 each
RSVP card: $1.02 each
RSVP envelope: $.30 each
5.25x5.25 Travel/direction card: $1.02 each

Normally, I'd say 'wow that's high' but that's actually quite reasonable considering all you get and it's custom made and designed.

Think I'm going to go the same route as you are!

I'll probably start the order in December. Here is the invitation I like. Aimee at CreativeMontage said she can't create the exact invitation but she will come close to it. Which is good because it looks like a 'Victoria Secret Wedding Invitation'.
