I do not have the dress in hand yet but expect it on Saturday.

It's a combination of these three dresses

The green dress is the main one using the dip in the rear from the blue dress and the front split from the orange/green dresses.

I will post pics and info once I get the dress

The pics do it no justice but my niece is sending pics of her in the dress.

It has all of the elements that she wanted (low front, criss cross back, low dip in the back and split in the front)

Pinina made it for me.

Just thought I would add my designer knock off in to the mix ladies!

I am working with my friends mother. She is so great.
I bought my fabrics at B&J Fabrics in the city, and here is the breakdown:

Alenceon lace top with a silk charmeuse underlayer.
A silk shantung skirt
and a duchess satin sash.

So far the fittings have been going great. We are concentrating on the top right now. The skirt has yet to be cut. And I am happy not rushing things. The more time she takes, the more weight I can lose, the better the whole thing will look in the end.

Next fitting I go to, I hope to bring my camera and take a picture or two.

Ladies, it's so nice to see all of you working to create something so unique and special. It's nice not getting something straight off the rack that countless other bride's have worn! Cheers!

for tatoos go to Nordstrom in the make up secton and ask where they sell the Dermablend it covers tatoos and it doesnt rub off!!! Tried and true my friend used it and she had a huuuugge tatoo and you didn't know i on the day of her wedding!!!

Ohhh, this was bumped just in time. I am going this Saturday for another fitting. Still no skirt, but I will take some pictures of me in the top ladies! woo hoo!!

And my mother's coming along on this one. This is the first time she will be seeing the dress at all....besides the inspiration pictures of course, eeek! I hope she likes it!

It's all altered and ready to go

Thankfully it's not as low in the front as my niece wanted

I do not yet have a new photo of the altered back of the dress but this is the back before alterations.

And I LOVE the shoes

There are not many people that can pull a dress like that off, but she sure can!

her skin tone compliments that color perfectly.
