shoes, that are on a 4 week back order. But a Knottie who is having her dress made by the same dress maker has an appointment on 4/1 and she is going to stalk my dress and take a pic for me!

her skin tone compliments that color perfectly.

Okay so thanks to my dress maker twin - here is a pic of the front of my dress. She stalked it for me at her appointment this past weekend.

I can't wait to try it on, once my shoes come in. And to show you guys the back, but this is what I have so far:

Laurie - it's absolutely stunning. It's better than the sketches and my imagination! I love it's simplicity, and it's elegance. I love the cut, the bodice, everything!

Laurie - your dress is the sh!t!! I love it!!

I also love that my 'girls' are mostly going the custom route...nothing else fits like that!! You will all look stunning...just look at Jess' pics!!

Although I would love Q's Reem!!

Well, I finally have a pic of my Monique Lhuillier knock off. We ended up doing quite a few things different than the inspiration.




There are still alterations that need to be made to the jacket. Like bringing in the darts around the armpit area and shortening the front. I am also having my dressmaker take in my long line bra because it's a little loose and I don't feel like it's sucking in my gut enough!

Good for you, Brave Brides! I was too hesitant to hire my mom's seamstress to make my dress (like she wanted me to) and I've paid close to full price for my designer dress. Yours look GORGEOUS!
