December 6, 2005 -- THINGS seem to be going from bad to worse in the Britney Spears/Kevin Federline marriage.
Spears, who kicked her under-employed, party-loving hubby out of her Malibu abode last week, is now said to be 'furious' with her man and 'wants to punish him,' according to a well-informed source.

A spy in Spears' camp told PAGE SIX, 'She is trying to repossess the $200,000 Ferrari she bought him. She is sick and tired of his partying ways and the constant flow of complete drug addicts coming in and out of her house.'

The fight that led to Spears booting Federline from their home reportedly began over his having his 'weedman' — or pot dealer — over to the house and hanging around their newborn son, Sean Preston.

After she kicked Federline out on Thursday, Spears went out dancing at Los Angeles hot spot LAX.

Federline, for his part, didn't seem to mind the sudden freedom. He spent the weekend partying with pals in Las Vegas — presumably on Spears' dime.

According to our sources, Federline and 'an entourage' danced away until 4:30 a.m. at Tao while Mike Tyson and Joy Bryant looked on.



A friend of Federline said, 'The problem is Britney's mom [Lynne Spears]. She hates Kevin. Since the day Britney had the baby, she has not left Britney's side. She moved into the hospital during the birth, and when Britney left the hospital, the mother moved into the house.

'[Lynne] insists on doing everything for the baby,' our source continued. 'She feeds it, she cleans it, she bathes it, and she won't let Kevin touch him. She says Kevin holds it wrong, that he doesn't know what he is doing — he has two other kids! Britney gets mad when he complains because she says, 'My mom is doing everything, leave her alone!'

'Kevin can't leave Britney because she's got all the money, but it's awful. Her mom hates him, and she won't get out of the house. The mom and everyone around Britney is telling her to get rid of Kevin. Kevin isn't going anywhere — Britney is picking up the bills.'

A rep for Spears didn't return calls.

Friends say the sexy songbird will walk down the aisle in June 2006 with the man who helped put her back on top of the pop charts, music executive Mark Sudack.

Said a pal: 'Mariah has tried to keep her relationship with Mark under the radar. She guarded the romance fiercely but she's tired of hiding him.'

According to an insider, Mark, 29, was a staffer at Mariah's record label when she hired him as her 'house photographer' in early 2004. He then leapfrogged up the ranks at Mariah's company to the point where he was listed as co-executive producer on her hit album The Emancipation Of Mimi!

Said the pal: 'She considers Mark her lucky charm — and largely responsible for her best-selling CD in years.'

Considered her strongest album since the late '90s, Mimi debuted in April at number one with the highest first week sales in the singer's career.

Mariah, 35, was married to music bigwig Tommy Mottola from 1993 to 1998 and was then linked to Yankee great Derek Jeter, Latin singer Luis Miguel and rapper Eminem. But now she only has eyes for Mark.

Said the friend: 'Mariah is elated — and she'll soon be making good on the promise of her hit 'We Belong Together' when she weds her beau!'

TMZ has learned that actor Johnathon Schaech has filed for divorce from his wife, 'Married with Children' star Christina Applegate.

The papers, filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, cite irreconcilable differences as reason for the split. TMZ has also learned that Schaech, the star of the film 'That Thing You Do,' is represented by high profile divorce attorney Laura Wasser.

Applegate, star of such films as 'The Sweetest Thing' and 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,' was most recently seen starring on Broadway in 'Sweet Charity.'

TMZ has learned that actor Johnathon Schaech has filed for divorce from his wife, 'Married with Children' star Christina Applegate.

The papers, filed today in Los Angeles Superior Court, cite irreconcilable differences as reason for the split. TMZ has also learned that Schaech, the star of the film 'That Thing You Do,' is represented by high profile divorce attorney Laura Wasser.

Applegate, star of such films as 'The Sweetest Thing' and 'Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy,' was most recently seen starring on Broadway in 'Sweet Charity.'

According to Grazia magazine and EntertaimentWise, Jennifer Aniston has burned the dress she wore when she married Brad Pitt in a ritual outside her Malibu beach home... 'sipping champagne and laughing with friends as her wedding dress went up in smoke. Other items on the fire were love letters from Brad as well as T-shirts and CD’s belonging to him. Aniston was planning to give the Lawrence Steele designed gown to charity but decided to burn it instead, forgetting rid of her marriage demons once and for all.'

Former 'American Idol' Contestant Arrested

Former 'American Idol' contestant Julia DeMato was arrested and charged with alleged drug possession and drunken driving in her hometown over the weekend.

Police said the 26-year-old singer was arrested early Saturday morning after they saw a dark sport utility vehicle drive into the parking lot of a restaurant that had been closed for more than an hour.

DeMato, who made the top 10 in season two of 'American Idol,' failed field sobriety tests, police said. They said a search of her SUV found two marijuana pipes, a small quantity of marijuana and a baggie with a small amount of white powder that tested positive for cocaine.

She told the News-Times of Danbury that it was just a misunderstanding.

'I am not a drug user,' she told the newspaper in a phone interview from her home. 'It's going to be taken care of in court and that's that.'

DeMato, who was released on $10,000 bond, is due in court on Dec. 16.

Valerie Bertinelli and her rock star husband, Eddie Van Halen, are divorcing after 24 years of marriage, Bertinelli's publicist confirmed Tuesday.

'Yes, that's true. They have been separated for four years and it's amicable,' Bertinelli spokeswoman Heidi Schaeffer told The Associated Press. She said the actress would have no further comment.

A divorce petition that Bertinelli, 45, filed in Los Angeles Superior Court on Monday cited irreconcilable differences.

The couple wed on April 11, 1981, and have one son, 14-year-old Wolfgang Van Halen. According to the petition, they separated on Oct. 15, 2001.

Although Spears has retreated to her mom's place in Kentwood, LA, a source tells me the pop princess is intent on proving everyone wrong. 'She was angry because Kevin knows how Britney feels about these guys,' my source tells me. 'But the worst part -- they showed up on a 'Britney and Kevin Day.'' A what? Spears and Federline apparently have set-in-stone days that are just for them and the baby. No one -- not even family or friends -- are allowed to join them. Spears' reps are not commenting.

Speaking of the Federline-Spears, Federline was supposed to be at GQ's Man of the Year party last week at Mr. Chow in Beverly Hills. I'm told staffers were informed he was in his car and on his way, but he never made it. And get this: Spears was supposed to be joining him as a surprise guest.

Lindsay Lohan's scheduled appearance on Tuesday's edition of Live with Regis and Kelly didn't happen, with the Mean Girls star bowing out during showtime – saying she was sick to her stomach.

'Lindsay Lohan is sick. She's not coming. Well, that's kind of a blow,' griped the show's star, Regis Philbin, to sidekick Kelly Ripa. The New York Post reports that Lohan's reps apparently informed Live producers of Lindsay's malady five minutes after the show went on the air.

'She has food poisoning,' Philbin announced. 'What'd they find out, about five after 9? ... She tried to make it.'
