Yeah I Know, excited, nervous, anxious (can't spell), I got all those emotions going on now, so many things going on. My parents are going to Jackson Heights today with my aunts to get all this stuff for me, I don't even know. But since the ceremony's at the Gurudwara, I told them they can do what they want with me in the morning, with dress and face and everything, but I get to do what I want for the reception at night and that's what I'm looking for.

As far as the sangeet, I don't really sing or dance to indian music, that's more for my family and friends to have a good time, It will be at my house anyway. I'm already sleeping in the living room in my house on an aerobed, they already took over my room for guests,

Nimisha at Mehak on Hillside is fantastic. I go to her for my eyebrows.

Very good. Highly recommend her


that's who did my mehndi but i've never had eyebrows done by her. my sister goes to her occasionally for eyebrows.

ok so i've checked out a couple of hair and makeup places, and im more concerned with makeup since my hair will have the dupatta on it, so its not even going to really show. From what i've heard, Habibs is really good! any other suggestions??

they're make is great as well.. she was the makeup artist for the manish malhotra fashion show last year and those girls looked lovely..

have you tried denise from angel eyes?i used her!

or mya from cosmetic astristy or even bridal+lounge all are american
