OMG!! I LOVE MY DRESSES!!!! ALL OF THEM SOOO BEAUTIFUL.The nikkah and reception wedding dress is amazing!! as well as the valima outfit!! i cant say how much i love it!! lol
The invitations came out good also, the only thing is they printed a religious quote on the front of the envelope, which looks stupid. so im going to have my uncle get plain envelopes and have them sent here ..its annoying, but thank god its only the envelope!!

Thanks GT...your too sweet! Yup, i did have a nice Astoria Manor experience...i actually moved from LI to Astoria after 26 years of my life ( yes thats my whole life...LMAO) It's so nice to see another guyanese girl on hear. So FH is Paki/ Guyanese...thats a nice mix!

Did any of you girls go to Neelu (Neelu's Khubsoorat) for a makeup trial? I thought she did an amazing job on my makeup....

Where is this located? Does she do the traditional indian makeup or can she do american too? By the way from your pics that i saw who dressed you for your nikkah?

Yeah, FH is half pakistani and guyanese! Yeah, i kinda lucked out cause i always attracted to those desi guys and its perfect cause he is half guyanese too! But, unfortunately he is totally american when i first met him he didnt know what a belna was. I told him thats what your wife is going to use to beat your A$$...

I bet your kids are going to come hot looking! You got a nice mix going too.

maybe. it'll depemd on the flowers u use. i tried doing the same thing when i wanted to book elegant affairs and it was cheaper but then i went with a different mandap person and it turned out is was less expensive for him to do the flowers.

maybe u wanna call like 2-3 places and get quotes over the phone instead of making appoinments if u dont have the time. i went to flower barn and he was nice and doesnt tax if u pay in cash

some girls actually do like really nice candles arrangement instead of flowers. I agree flowers are expensive and just a waste.

i think they are a vendor here. i only went to see him becasue he did flowers for my cousin's wedding like 6 years ago. also, a lot of the girls say that flower michelle has great prices also.
i never thought about flowers either!!! and i do think it is waste of money to pay so much for only 5 hours. thats the one thing that i would definitely skimp out on.
