Hey jaruti, we all know each other here without physically knowing each other right??? I mean we are all going thru a stressful time and looking out for each other to help. I know all the girls on here kept me sane, lol. But yeah, he has known him forever. I knoew him since high school, we went to Francis Lewis together.

Hawaii was great, I tanned really nice but it is going away now, I really miss it. Hate the cold weather but happy to be starting my life with hubby. How's married life for you??

Sorry you had a bad experience. Who was your photographer?? I just picked up my proofs and they came out good. I know there are not soo many of us but what can you do with family always around, they wanna be in the pics too. You didn't like the video?? I didn't get mine yet, hope it comes out good, getting nervous now. But again, sorry you had a bad experience, we had Joel and Lorraine and they were good.

Hi everyone! I've been mia for a while and woa, did I miss a lot!! It looks like a lot of people changed their names?

I'm going to try and touch on some of the posts I missed out...not sure if it's still relevant though....

Florist: we're booked with pedestals. We looked at a couple of vendors, including a local florist, and pedestals gave us the best price, hands down!

Programs: We're doing programs for the ceremony...translation of the ceremony into english and a listing of the bridal party, etc.

Proposal: FH took my parents out to lunch and asked for my hand in marriage....my parents gave him their blessings. He then went to the beach (I absolutely love the beach), and spent the day making a sand penguin and wrote 'will you marry me' in the sand (we had this crazy idea of having a penguin ring bearer). And then he called me while I was leaving work and said that his car wouldn't start and asked if I could pick him up.......and when I got there, he got down on one knee in front of the penguin and asked me to marry him =)

hair & makeup: I didn't check out any indian stylists. I'm booked with Khouloud's. I'm doing half up-half down, with more of a contemporary style.

Video & Photo: fbil&sil had duval for their wedding.....I think their pictures came out great, but my parents weren't thrilled with their video. My parents said that a lot of the cultural pieces were missed because the whole video was shot from the back. I think that's something that can happen with any videographer though....depending on the church/setting of the ceremony. We're booked with Bellarino for video and Patken for photo (we liked the creative/photojournalistic style of patken more than what i saw in fbil's album). We plan on showing both pictures/video of the really important parts of the ceremony and hope that they'll capture it.

I am back from my bachlorette weekend in AC!

We had a wonderful time but we did have some trouble with the hotels

I actually went the emergency room yesterday cause i been sick for a while and my cold doesnt go away. But, i got some meds and i should be better in a few days so i can finish up my wedding stuff.
