well our parents wanted us to forgo the proposal because they didn't want him giving me the ring before the ceremony..![]()
and we obliged because we didn't want them to get all hyped up about it..
![]()
it was kinda the same for us, but I really wanted him to do an actual proposal before the engagement party , so he did in a very romantic way a couple of days before!! :)

My wedding is May of 2009. It'll be 2 faith marriages and reception - a 3 day event. Does anyone know of any good photographers/videographers?
This a local studio I'm thinking about FX studios, I also checked out Prestige Weddings in Queens. - Has anyone heard good/bad things about either?![]()

I think if they're married you have to invite their significant others, but otherwise you don't have to invite boyfriends/girlfriends.

same issue here.. and to top it off, i'm switiching to another company in a few weeks!! but i would have to invite the new folks.. it looks awkward if i invite them w/o a guest b/c they wouldn't know anyone there..
am i thinking along the right path?
