Hey Girls,

Hope all is well.

We finally booked our honeymoon hotel in Cabo. I think I'm more excited for the honeymoon.

http://lasventanas.com/

I still need to book the limos. Any suggestions. Is it just one drop off at the wedding/reception hall and then a pick up at the end of the night?

try camelot.. they're a vendor on here..

I can't wait till my hm too...just to relax a bit.

I second Camelot....we're booked with them. Joe is pretty easy to work with. Make sure you tell him you're a LIWeddings girl...he gives a little discount.

yayy, that's great to hear...we're booked with pedestals too!! Leena...how much were the linens? We are thinking of using chair covers, I didn't realize pedestals could help us out with that.

the linens were i think 70 or 80 a table. you just have to ask them about it and they work with someone else. i would have never thought to get them just when i saw my sample cp the linen was on the table and i fell in love. it did not look the same without it. im soooooo sooo glad i did it because it set the whole room for the reception. everyone looooved them and could not stop talkinbg about them. but i loved them the most!

well it all depends on what kind of flowers you want. my first choice was orchids and when i heard the price i fainted!

you should save all the pics you like when you are planning i know that it what helped me the most!

Leena - it was definitely worth the price for those centerpieces - I can imagine that your guests were truly impressed by them!

I also agree that it's best to save photos esp if you find arrangements that you think you might want to replicate or slightly modify.

When I met with my florist, I brought photos of what I liked and was able to get price estimates and then decide which one I would go with based on my budget.

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread

i think we are going to have around 225. My guestlist could've easily been around 500 but since i am moving away to Cali after the wedding i told my parents i wanted a small wedding so we basically just invited like 2 or 3 from each family... you know how that went. People Beeching

ok girls, i have something for ya! well, i numbered each rsvp card in the back to keep track who sent them back. Plus, my rsvp were made of fabric. well, someone really SPECIAL decide pick the fabric off so i can't see the number and then responded NO and didnt write their name either!
