you could also try sana salon in hicksville (same as sonal salon in queens)...they're well-priced and i thought they did a good job

ok i have a question

what beauty treatments are you girls getting before the big day?? Also, how far ahead are you getting them done?

I am continuing with waxing and adding mani/pedi and facials.

I have no idea where to go as I have never gotten a facial before. I am open to suggestions. Maybe once a month?

yeah im thinking of getting a facial done 4-5 days before wedding along with waxing. Mani/pedi will be before i get my mehndi put on..right??
i wanted to get a massage done as well before. But i dont know where. my sis wanted to get me a package from a spa, but i have no idea where to go.

I looked it up and it says every 4-6 weeks for a facial. I am probably going to Bliss Spa, My coworkers had great things to say about it.

I really want a massage too. I will be so stressed out that my family is joking about giving me a tranquilizer the day of the wedding.

I'm doing all the threading, waxing, mani pedi the day before i get the mehendi. You can't wash your hands or put water on them for like 12 hours after they put the mehendi on.

yeah exactly! once the mehendi is on, u cant do anything! lol

oh so ur doing waxing day before? hmm..maybe i should do that as well. where are u getting it done from??

hi ladies,

Sorry i been MIA but i moved to cali after the honeymoon and i am living with the inlaw's. Things been a bit crazy but so far so good. I am living out of boxes. My wedding was amazing and I had a blast in Cancun for the honeymoon. I am trying to get photos from family and friends so i can post them. My professional proofs arent ready yet.

I saw a few previous post and totally recommend you girls gettting facials. Check out spaweek.org they are running a promotion right now for facials, massages, etc for only $50.00. This is so worth it. I gone a few times to red door spa on fifth avenue and the one in long island. They are pretty good.

Girls, good luck with all your planning and trust me dont stress over the details.

I will try to post some pics soon.

I believe she is a beauty pageant winner from Pakistan and is supposedly very good.

We stayed at Excellence and it was totally worth every penny! We had an awesome time. The food at our resort was soo good. I am pretty sure we gained weight and then worked it off

Next time we go back to mexico we are going to stay at hotel zone in Cancun.
