hey girls
i need some help on centerpieces for mehndi. I dont want to spend a lot, but I want to put at least something there..colors for mehndi will be traditional green and yellow.
There's a post on the bhb thread with pictures of 2 pretty simple/inexpensive cp's. This is a picture of mine from my engagement party.....pretty inexpensive, cute, and even the old uncles and aunties liked it

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
so i went to check out my lengha for my reception.. i ordered it back in december and it finally came in and i wasn't too keen on it..
my lengha is all swaroski crystals and of course gold crystals was the base and it had deep green accents, but we opted for another lighter shade of green and it looks like awash now.. all gold since the green is light.. i told her i want the skirt to pop more.. and now she has to order the crystals from india and think of what to do.. she said not to worry but i wanted to sooo fall in love with it.. given how much we are paying for it..
it's a beautiful lengha don't get me wrong, it's a stunning piece and when the light hit it, it was all sparkly, sparkly, but i don't want it to look like a beige or gold lengha with some green on it.. indian clothes are supposed to pop out with color.. ugh.. she said she'll work something out.. given that there's 2 months left..

Re: OFFICIAL Indian 'Desi' Wedding Thread
Hey girls! Hope you guys are doing well. Sooo Ive been shopping for a reception outfit.. I still havent found the one for me..
But I wanted to share a GREAT place for clothes. Its this place called SEASONS in India. They have a website : www.seasonsindia.com . Their quality is amazing.. and they have awesome selection. Their prices are reasonable too.. I live out in chicago and went to Sahil out here.. We found a lengha choli there priced for $6000... and on Seasons its for $1700.. SAME exact one..
PS.. if anyone knows where I can find a hot pink legnha Hot enough for the reception.... Pleeeeeasee let me know. Thanks!!!
