Thanks! Yeah, everything is pretty much done... just the small stuff now -programs, finish the favors, confirm with vendors, seating chart (dreading that!) But now we are just writing a lot of checks, and I guess I should start thinking about the Honeymoon!!!

I wanted to know if any WM brides know if the hall distributes taper candles instead of votives for the tables?

Hi they only supply 2 taper candles , one on each side of your centerpiece- they do NOT provide votives. HTH.

We gave 14k white gold tie tacks- all square shape but different styles ( like 1 had lines down the middle, the other on the side, etc.) for the GM's to wear on the wedding day too and the BM we gave 14k gold w/onyx cuff links.

When I went for my final meeting with WM they asked me if I wanted votives and I am getting them.

Are these for the reception tables or the cocktail tables? I had votives on my cocktail tables and tapers on the reception. I wouldn't think they would reverse them.

I actually called yesterday to make sure I could use candelabra's on the tables and they said yes, but that if I wanted, they would supply votives as well.

I guess they are changing things a bit. I guess it is based on the look you want.

Re: Westbury Manor-Brides (We decided to make this our official thread)
Right I had them for the cocktail hour on the tables but I was told ( when I booked) that they didnt offer votives for the reception tables/cake table that was something I would have to do on my own- and that they only had the 2 tapers in beautiful silver stands- so I had my florist do the votives. I think it is a NEW change b/c I had 2 different banquet managers tell me that before my wedding. but either way you go its very pretty.

We had about 150 guests and 15 (I think...already starting to forget!) tables. It was perfect!

Any brides who are (or have been) in the Garden Room. What do you think is the MAX number of people that fit comfortably in the room? They said 150 but I think 120. ANy thoughts? We are inviting about 140 and I am nervous that everyone will come!
