LIW Pet Peeves

Do you have any peeves about LIW? Obviously, I support LIW (over 1,000 posts, thank you), but is there anything that you don't like about LIW?

One of mine is how when I post on a topic, and accidentally 'subscribe'... then my inbox is clogged with everyone else's response that I don't read most of the time. gr8888888888!

I did that by mistake for my review. Irritating, yet funny now.

LIW pet peeves, uh maybe the drama...not too much lately, thank goodness, but sometimes it is too much for me
Other than that I luv my LIW gals & guys

ETA: Mac/LI pet peeve.... i cannot post pics directly from my server, I have to upload them through hutterfly first... that irritates me a little...especially when i have many pics to post.

Hrmmmm...Good one!

Ummmmm....I guess it's the comments and remarks that are made on some threads. Sometimes things are taken too personal or people take it upon themselves to be nasty and disagree with everything....that bugs me! I feel bad for the girls who get flammed for just saying what they feel.

I also really hate feeling guilty when I wanna bump a post of mine. I feel like people don't wanna see the same one over and over again. Weird I know!

BIGGEST PET PEEVE OF LIW!!!!!!
I can't understand the logic of a vendor posing as a bride.

A vendor also attempted to bribe me by saying I would get a discount if I posted nice comments about their work!!! I hate that stuff!

Bumping your own post after a very short period of time. And worse then that, bumping your own post after a short period of time and getting annoyed because no one responded yet.

Pet peeve: When people post on the Brides helping bride forum and they begin the post with NWR...hello? there is a section for that!!!

Sorry if I offended those who do that but you asked!!! .

Definately when people get nasty. I think people should try and control their rude remarks and put everything into perspective.

I don't like it when people post non-review questions on the Review board. Hello people, there is a thread pinned to the top of that board that says read before posting here.... DUH!!!!

Other than that I enjoy spending my day with you ladies and gents talking about all this wedding hullabaloo.

I hate when my FM does not notify me.

I also dislike when people lie..and its not always vendors either but I am sure you understand what I mean

But take everything with a grain of salt..the good outweighs the bad.

People who write Poll in their message title but haven't actually included a poll. Sorry if this offends anyone.

Also vendors FM'ing me after obviously trolling the Bride's Board. If I wanted vendor help I would have posted on the vendor board.

Yeah me too, I agree the search function needs help.

Also I feel like when I ask a question that has been asked a million times that I 'annoy' people and then I get self conscious.

another thing that bothers me is when posters only post about themselves. Or when they respond to your topics with 'oh, well I'm doing ----', when you asked for suggestion/tips. I don't when people are self-involved.

I know the search function may not be the greatest but I feel that some people don't even bother trying to look first before posting their questions. To me it seems that there are alot of repetitive questions - one that comes to mind is what's needed for a marriage license.

While I agree with you, since we get new visitors everyday, much of this will be unavoidable.

I was thinking the same thing.

Having been a newbie in January, I didn't know how to find previous posts and search and got 'yelled at' a couple times for not doing a search first or knowing that someone had recently asked that question.

Some people were nice and explained to me how to use it, but some people were a little rude. I didn't post for a long time because I was afraid people were going to get annoyed with me.

Soooo.....my pet peeve is people not being patient enough with the newbies and making them feel embarrassed.

Let's welcome each other and help each other out!! Just because you've read the answer to a question a zillion times doesn't mean others have!!
