My sister is getting married there in Feb and trying to block off rooms. Where is everyone else getting rooms? We are thinking the Wingate in Garden City and the Ramada in Bayside. Any other options?

I blocked rooms at the Marriot in Uniondale, great to work with and it is really, really nice. I would stay away from the ramada in bayside, some of my BP stayed there a couple of days before the wedding and it was not so great - jmo

We blocked rooms off in The Marriott in Uniondale & all of our guests stayed there. They were very easy to work with & also very accommodating.
I would recommend them & the Wingate....

You should call them, when I called in Oct. 05 they gave me their ranges for different nights and different months over the phone....worth a call.
Your right, one wedding at a time....so it will be all about you!!!

I went to FT last night with my Mom because she has never seen it and she loved it!!! It was so nice to check out the place again, it was all decorated for Christmas w/trees and poinsettas....very nice for girls getting married around this time.
My BM had been Marianne and FH and I were disappointed to hear that she was no longer there. Frank brought us around last night and he's a very nice guy and we're planning on meeting w/him in the future for anything we need.
He did mention that they have no available Friday or Saturday's left for 2007...he said they only have three Sunday's open. I liked hearing that because it says a lot for FT....just wanted to fill you girls in.
