We are having the enhancement menu and we dont have to make any choices as to what stations we want. AS far as the passing odourves we dont have to choose a certain amount out the choices,,Marianne offered us all the choices..Marianne was great to work with and whatever we asked for we got..

For dinner, we are starting with the antipasto, salad, pasta, sorbet...and the dinner choices will be: chilean sea bass, shrimp scampi, filet mignon, veal, chicken, and lobster

I hope you girls arent paying extra for the seat covers, menu's on table and linen's, right???

When I was there, Marianne told me that for no extra cost they will put our pix on the menu's at the table, in case any of you were interested...

Yeah, we don't have to choose either - we don't want chinese at all...so we are taking it out and subbing it.

BUT...I don't remember the whole menu thing. I actually am making my own to tie in with my theme. I don't think anyone pays extra for the seat covers.... what do the chairs look like? The only thing I am jealous of is that I am having past...no sorbet.... hmmm... now I WANT sorbet!

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

Hey by the way,

is anyone doing photos .....the frames with pics from your parents, etc... I want to and I also want to have the seating cards upstairs before the reception room. And I want the signing book up there, etc.

Do you think I can get a large table with all of that? At least I want the signing thing and the pictures by the reception room.

you definitly can get a table upsatirs,,,,,they shoudnt give you a problem,,,I love sweets so that is why picked the corbet before dinner was served...get it,,,they wont charge you,,and we also arent getting the chinese station,,

when i was there sunday for the food tasting, the wedding goin on had a station with a pig!!!! is anyone getting that?? they told me to get it for show,,but that isnt showy to me

My brother got married at the Sandcastle in Feb 03 & he wanted the roasted pig...So we had it there & surprising it was a big hit! I am not getting it though...

Leese-From what I was told, the chair covers are extra....I think it is something like $5 a chair...We are not getting them since we have to pay! I don't see why they would not put a table up there for you!

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

you know, i forgot about the greece thing...what's the deal with that? it's free hotel room? can you take it anytime that year or just for your honeymoon?

marianne did throw in the chair covers for me but it didn't seem like too much for her to do. she definitely worked it for us and I appreciated it.

i'm sure there will be tons of things I will think of in the next year I want to do. I can't wait to start to plan the theatre theme....i have a few ideas but need to develop them some more!

tata!

yeah, i kinda feel cheated not knowing about it.

we were actually thinking of going to Hawaii for our honeymoon and then the following august/septemeber - going to Italy for the better weather. This would be a good duo trip.

Or maybe I just want to go to Italy and do a tour and then finish it up in GREECE! That sounds awesome to me.

Before I signed someone said that in a year from now (Kissy - when we are finalizing things) that they are good with giving you a good deal (like extending something or throwing something else in)... I'm sure I'll have things I want and I'm glad that they are good about that.

Kissy, I know you aren't going tomorrow --- but I am hoping the SandCastle/FT showcase is still ok for tomorrow.

I think PIZZ is going...

Re: Official Floral Terrace Thread!

Leese-I don't see why they would not have the showcase tomorrow! The roads are back to normal so I would not worry about it!

Actually I got a phone call from an aunt last night that was at the Floral Terrace on Friday night for a Sweet 16 party & she called to rave to me...She said the food was amazing & the service was great too! That truthfully put a smile on my face while I was stuck inside without FH

I KNOW!!! Can you please come and drop off your stuff on my wedding day???? It is weird that you suggested them to me and then I booked right before you.....

It'll be so weird a year and two months from now... we will be the ones to GO! AGGHH!!!!!

I'll totally be thinking about you on that day.

I wish that there were things that we could think of the SHARE to save costs... I think of that all the time...

Anyways...I want to see the bathrooms!!!

Oh, and now I am all about wanting to go to Greece and Italy for the HM...that would be so much fun I think.... I need to ask Marianne about it. I wonder why it wasn't mentioned...but I hope it doesn't have to be on the contract or something! I didn't get the Menu thing either on my contract, but I'm doing something different anyways.

I will have to just make a special visit the day of your wedding to do some final things! Actually we can do our final payment that day!

It is really funny that we have gone through this entire thing...Wouldn't it be funny if you were still on your HM when I go on mine & we are in the same place!
