I wanted to let you all know that I just booked my wedding at the Floral Terrace this weekend. We had a tasting on Saturday night - everything was wonderful and they were so attentive to us.

We're getting married Sat March 18th, 2006 6:30pm.

I can't make the showcase tonight (I live in NJ now) but I'll check the board for any feedback you have.

I was there at 7 & unfortunately I didn't see anyone...I brought my parents with me bc they had never seen FT...Everything looked beautiful! I didn't take any pictures bc it was kinda hard with all the vendors all around...Saw the new dias & it looks amazing in person!!!

I will definately have the camera going all night!!! I plan on taking pictures of everything!!! It will be great to sit back & watch how things work so I can see if there is anthing I need to talk to them about...I am not sure of what menu the wedding I am going to will have but I will report back! I am curious to see how the bride decorates the dias & to see her centerpieces....

Ok fellow FT girls, I have a review from the wedding I went to last night!!!

To sum it up, WE HAVE NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT

FH was in the bridal party, so he got to see the service in the suite...He said the food & drinks were flowing from the minute they walked into the room....The bridal attendant was amazing following the bride!!! FH felt like a king..

I didn't make it to the CH, so I am not sure the choices they had....FH said the food was amazing as usual

The reception room was set up for approximately 170 people (same as my wedding) & the room didn't look empty at all! The tables were spread out enough that no one was bumping into the other! THe new dias looked fabulous & the bride had her BM bok's on each side to accent it...Really looked pretty! When you walk in, the bridal party enters from the left side of the room (looking from the dias) There is smoke that comes down from the dome ( i never knew this)

The food was everything & more....FH & I were not fond of the appetizer, portbello mushroom napeleon (sp) it just was not our speed...Then they had the Tri-Color salad which was good but the dressing was too tangy for me...We are opting for the Ceasar salad..THe dinner choices were, filet migeon, french breast of chicken, rack of veal, stuffed shrimp & grilled salmon...I had the chicken which was so tasty...It came with potatoes & string beans...FH ordered stuffed shrimp & the filet migon...He hate both, so they must have been yummy

After everyone was served, the wait staff came around with seconds!!! Then the hot towels rolled out to wipe your hands (i saw so many people impressed with this)

The wedding cake was tasty too...They had a vanilla cake with chocolate pudding...So yummy!!! No viennese hour, but the demitasse bar...

FH did the napkin test & they passed with flying colors!! Our waitress was there every moment you needed something...The one thing that made me nervous all night was the CP...The bride had high centerpieces sitting on an ivy vine with candles...Anytime someone would touch the table, the CP would start to shake uncontrollable...So that is a concern for anyone that is having high CP...

Went into the bathroom & they are not done yet...The bridal attendant was so sweet...So overall girls, I would give FT a 100!!! I can't wait for my wedding day...I took some pictures but the lighting was so dim, I have to see if they come out...If so, I will post!

Thank you Kissy! I am soooo glad that you made it to the wedding and were able to report to us...it made it all worth it, right?

I didn't know about the hot towels??? And the smoke? Are you sure that wasn't the DJ? That's awesome!

It is VERRRY dim in there. I took pics at the showcase but they didn't show up hardly at all!

Kissy--Thanks for the review! I emailed Marianne at FT about the smoke and towels. She said they always do that! I didn't know that!! But, I'm sooooooo happy that they do!
