Well, I got into a big money fight with fiance tonight. I know one of my big probs is i just LOVE to debate - i was a geek on the debate club... but I try to win, instead of explain...need to work on that.

I have so many more pics so I'll try to get them on there - I also took video - I am NOT kidding!!!

Well, I really want to concentrate on the Engagement Party - I got all the decor stuff, like the centerpieces (I got great 70 % off pear stuff and vases from Michaels) and we got 50 % off table cloths, cups, etc. for the party. And I found out that ALL my cousins (incl. kids) are coming - which is such a wonderful surprise.

I am enjoying engagement period - but not tons since i don't see him ever. we saw eachother tonight for a few hours and then i'll see him next week. so i know its gonna be hard to book vendors - I think showcases will be key.

Thanks for the info - I really want to wait a bit - at least till after the eng. party. Hopefully I'll book the majority of the vendors this spring and then concentrate on the house hunt. That's my plan thus far.

Talk to you soon - maybe someone should call marianne and ask her - she told me it ws definite,,, but maybe the postpone it. Do they give you snack? FH would like that - he most likely will be there!

Just went to a wedding there & although the place was nice, the food & service was horrible. Had to wait forever to get a drink, & most of the food (when it finally arrived) was half cold. I wish I could say that the music made up for this, but the DJ was as bad as the service & food. And what's up with those bathrooms? Can anyone say make-over?

We are using the house photographer Silver Fox and we are using the former house florist...United Florist in Great Neck.

We still need to get limo's but probably going with Royalty.

Don't get so excited. The hall is very nice the rooms charming.The cocktail hour food was better than the dinner, maybe just an off night, it happens. the B&G are friends of FH They had beautiful centerpieces, & had their proofs ready just a few weeks after their return from their honeymoon. I,m sure your wedding will be wonderful, & I wish you all the happines.

I'm not excited - anyone excited? I just think its strange that someone who posts for the first time would post a negative comment for their first post on a thread for anyone who has booked or is looking at booking the Floral Terrace.

I am sure your friends are happy that you are trashing the place they got married.

So since you are willing to share, when did they get married? what did you eat? you know that flowers and photog has nothing to do with the FT, yet that's your only positive.

Girls, I am kinda sad because I am getting quotes for my 30 tables and I don't know if I can do flowers!!!! It soooo expensive!

Lisa, What are you looking to spend on your total budget for flowers?? What type of centerpieces are you going for??

As I have told you, I am going with low centerpieces approximately 2 dozen roses..Who have you called??? FM if you want to give my florist a call...

I was reading all of your posts about the bathroom....and I agree with all of you.

My mom went today to look at the hall again to see it decorated for christmas....and they told her that they were redo'ing the bathroom....only the upstairs one...very soon!!!!

My mom asked if it was going to be done before my wedding...and she said it was going be done real soon.

Yipee!!!!!!!

I will not be attending...It is the same vendors & all but the main reason I was going was for my MOH & FMIL to see Floral Terrace....I have pretty much all of my vendors booked, so it would not be productive for me...Also considering it is at Sandcastle, they will be illuminating things at the Sandcastle rather then Floral Terrace...Have fun going though
