Any one know if they allow rose petals or anything of that nature to be tossed after a ceremony?

TIA

Thank you for that info!!! We may have to run over there & take a few - the lobby is sooooo cool!

I took some photos in the Inn. Some in the room, some in the lobby. In my review and my album the pictures on the stairs/with stairs are from the Inn. Also the solo ones of me are in the room. I called the night before to see if I could check in early the day of my wedding. They said as long as no one was in my room I could get in early. (I reminded them that my wedding was next door).

They were very accomadating about getting me into the room.

Thanks for this info. Very helpful!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Does anyone know how many menus the fox hollow prints up? is it one / two per table or one per person? If it's not one per person, I think I will make my own.

They do have enough for one per person.

I am getting viennese trays on the table - it was 'thrown in' - I would have rather something else thrown in, but it will be nice. Not sure what it includes ... cookies and pastries, I assume??? Not sure if this is what you mean by 'mini viennese hour.'

Thanks. Do you remember if they put one on each plate or in front of the plate so that each guest sees it when they get to the table? (I hope they are not in a pile on the table .... )

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Can anyone scan the menu?

JMO, but if it has a fox hunt on it, I think I will make my own otherwise, I am hoping to save some $$ here and use what they provide.

It doesn't - it's plain with names and your date on top.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

They put one menu at each place setting. The menus do not have names and dates on them any more. At first they showed me one that had names and date and then at my wedding they just had my menu. I asked and they said that they dont put names or date on them anymore.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

You can also have your florist decorate the cake. When they came and set up my centerpieces they also decorated my cake. My florist just through this in for free. This way you dont have to pay fox hollow any extra money. My cake was out in the reception room and the decorated it.

Ok, another question. Should have remembered this before but I am forgetting a lot of things lately

I know they charge $100 if you want flowers added to your cake. If I want my cake topper to be made out of flowers, I can just give them to them the day of and have my maitre d add it to the cake then, right, for no charge? I love the way it looks with the flowers but don't want to spend the money.

And similarly ... My sister is a baker, and I may even ask her to add a bunch of fresh flowers to the cake that day ... to make it look like the ones in their book with the flowers but so that I don't have to pay the $100 for it ... she could do it just as nice as the bakery if not nicer ... anyone know if this would be ok?

oooooh, what a great idea!!!!!!!!$$$$!!!!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

yea i just asked jen last week about the names on the menus... and nope, they dont do it .. but its just a menu, so i really dont care

as for the placecards... i decided i am not using theirs... i really dont like them, and was not going to spend the extra money... so i went on EBAY, and got 100 silver picture frames for $30!!! it was sooo worth it!! and of course it includes the actual placecards!!
