Hello to all the fellow Fox Hollow Brides

hi! Welcome to LIW
what room is your wedding in? It's getting close isn't it?

Hey Hey.

My cocktail hour is in the Latern Gallery (I think that's the right name of the room). Ceremony is outside in the Garden (weather permitting of course) backup is their indoor Chappel (forget the name), Reception in the WGP.

Looks like your is as well. And your wedding is a week after mine ;)

I've been to the room about 3 different times and each time they have different chairs there. I cant quite figure out as to which ones they will have there for my event. I don't believe that I negotiated chair covers as part of my contract and I really don't feel like spending the extra money on it. At $5 (or is it even $8) per cover it adds up to a substantial expense.

Nice! We are in the same rooms.
I have chair covers- they were in my contract. I plan on getting sashes for them from Linen Creations in Franklin Square. MUCH CHEAPER. Their website is down but the email addres is [email protected]

What they charge for them is nuts.

I'm wearing Pronovias as well- Rene. Which dress are you wearing. How exciting!

I didn't even think to negotiate chair covers because I figured they were automatically included (I guess a lesson for me never to assume). All the other venues I considered had them included. I am going to attempt to squeez it out of them during a meeting down the line. Or maybe I can contact my BM and see what he says. He's been pretty accomodating so far.

Thank you for the recommendation for the place for sashes. I'll definitely check them out.

My dress is Nacar by Pronovias ;) I saw Rene as well it's beautiful!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

hey girls!!! so my wedding was yesterday and i am currently in the DR for my honeymoon but i just wanted to quickly say how absolutely amazing and fantastic fox hollow was... wow girls we are so lucky that is all i have to say -- they are truly so on top of everything and organized and just make you feel so special (and this is coming from the most picky girl ever). I will def. post a review as soon as I get back.

All my vendors were wonderful- i adore and loveeeed by bridal attendant (Nathalie) and Maitre'd (Mike)- they were really amazingggggggg!!!! I also can't forget Christine from Exquisite Affairs and everyone else who made my day flawless.

I will post details later but just wanted everyone to know that it was AWESOME- don't stress-- you are in wonderful hands!

I will talk to you all soon!

Hi ladies! Just doing a quick post while still on our honeymoon, but just wanted to say the the Fox Hollow was awesome!!! We are still getting compliments left and right from friends and family about how wonderful everything was! We had 220 guests, Mike was our maitre'd and Renee was the bm. Both were absolutely great and took care of everything! You have nothing to worry about!

THey really made sure that every detail was perfect and even went above and beyond...for example, my florist forgot to leave flowers for my cake and Mike made sure to get flowers anyway! that is just one example of how awesome they were...you will not be disappointed!

I also wanted to say that your wedding day will probably not go exactly the way you planned it, but will still be the most perfect day of your life!

Oh yeah, even with 220 guests I still danced my butt off! There is plenty of time!

Still have to look at tons of wedding pics from facebook and other sites from friends and family, but my super awesome photographer already sent me teaser pics 2 days after our wedding...great pics of fox hollow and the inn : http://www.lifemagical.com/index.php?c=2211

Good luck to the upcoming brides and enjoy!

Thanks for sharing your pics.. they are amazing.. I love the style the photograper has and how he caught all those funny moments.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Hi girls!! I'm back and married!!
Fox Hollow was amazing! Everything was flawless! They were on top of everything and made sure everyone was happy. My Maitr'd was Mike and my bridal attendant Noelia. They were a great team and such a pleasure to work with. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I also had a DOC named Cynthia Ross who was just an angel!!! I couldn't have asked for a better day. The rain held out and I was happy about that. All my guests were raving about how good the food was and the cocktail hour. OMG!!! Everyone was just loving it!!

Non-Pro Pics in my album.

Thanks so all the girls on there who helped me with questions and suggestions. You all helped me have a smooth day!!

Thanks so much for sharing your pictures. I see your reception was in the Briar Fox...mine is too and i have been very concerned about this room. Did you have Oval tables or round? How many guests did you have? Was it crowded? Did it get too hot in that room? Did you think the ceilings were too low? Thanks so much
