AWW YAY!! good luck honey- have an amazing day!! I am right behind ya a week later!!

To FH girls who already are married- was there enough dancing time with all of the things going on like parent dances bouquet/garter toss, toasts, dinner- did u find that there was enough dancing?

I'm sure there will be enough time.. they usually get rid of the 1st dance and parent dances right in the beginning...
We chose to do the salad/app duet to save time and have more time for dancing!!

I do have a question regarding children---
is it
3 and under FREE?
3-13 1/3 of the price?
can the FREE children get a chair if there is enough room???

1. I was told to use my discretion with very young children. Pretty much 4 and under are free, they get their own chair (if needed). Kids that young could get full off Cocktail Hour food. No need to pay for them. Once you put a place setting out, you have to pay.

2. Age 12 and under are 1/3 off.

Kinda. First Dance was first of course. Then they ask everyone to sit so they could take dinner orders and you can have your app/salad. We got the Duet so there weren't two separate courses. After the app/salad they open up the dance floor. Then they break for Toasts and dinner (I can't remember what time that was exactly). After dinner it was dancing, then we cut the cake and did the other crap. Bouquet Toss, Garter Toss and Parent Dances. After that it was nothing but dancing.

I was out on the dance floor for a good portion of my wedding.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Thanks for the info.. i thought I wrote all this stuff down but I guess I was overwhelmed...
Do you know if the kids 4-12 get a regular meal - or do they have to have a 'childrens meal' - cause i know Annemarie had mentioned they have chicken fingers and stuff for kids.....
But i think you are absolutely right...a 3 or 4 year old definitely could get full off of cocktail hour...

Age 4-12 could have the 'kids' meal or they could have what everyone else is having. It's up to them.

Thanks for all the info girls!

Honestly with everything going & us making about 45 minutes of our CH we had plenty of time to enjoy ourselves. We feel like we got to do everything we wnated to do & dance the night away. We had so much fun & i dotn feellike the day or night flew. We really enjoyed it. Make sure to look around see everything & dont let people take you aways from whatyou want to do.

I was kind of stressed the week before as well. But the day of honestly everything is so good. The entire day everyone said i was glowing. You just forget abotu everything & enjoy it. Dont worry even if something is not right dont let it get to you. Nothing should stop your day frombeing the best most fun ever. We had out of everything 1 small mishap & i said to DH if thats the only small thing Im a winner. Everything else was perfect!!!

Harry was our Maitre'D & he was absolutely amazing! I couldnt imagine a better MD!! My Bridal attendant was Claudia & she was fabby as well. Right on top of everything. So dont worry its all good!

If you can request a Maitre'D, request Harry. He was absolutely outstanding.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I am stressing too...we have so many table issues... and the worst is.. my 2 children have no where to sit!! LOL!! I want to sit them with all my cousins and my sister (their aunt) but then there is 14 at that table... do you think it would look bad to have 2 tables with only 7 people? my only other option is to switch to Oblong tables.. I thought I remembered Jen saying that in the Briar Fox, there is more room for movement with the oblong tables?? Now another question.. some tables will only have 8 people..will that look empty for an oblong table??

STRESSING BIG TIME!!

I defnitely recommend going to your cocktail hour if you can...this way you can walk around there and say hi to people and greet them... that takes alot of time!! We had about 65 people at the bridal shower..and going around saying hello to everyone literally took almost an hour... you dont want to have to do that during the reception --- you want to PARTY!! :)

We had some tables with 14 people, some with 10 and some with 7 or 8. It's not a big deal. It won't look empty. Don't worry.
