The Briar Fox Room...this is my room and I am extremely concerned about the low ceilings, if it feels like a basement and if it gets stuffy with everyone dancing?

Any feedback?

I am also concerned with the amount of people...our list is close to 200..I don't want to be too crowded.

We went to the Watermill Showcase a couple of weeks ago and saw the DJ performance in the downstairs room....there were so many people in there dancing...it started to get really hot and have a horrible sweaty smell....would this happen in the Briar Fox?

Thanks so much!

I am in the BF room too, I have inviting 190, and I hope only 160ish come.....I was told nothing over 170 even though the room max is 185. A lot of girls have told me 20% don't come, no matter how much u think everyone will be there, always 20% don't make it.

I am in the Briar Fox Room and was told that the max # of people was 180. If you are inviting 200 people I would look into the larger room or at least call to ensure that if you don't get that many 'No' responses that they can put that many people in that room.

why not look at the garden terrace? depending on time of day, etc. your minimum might be more, like, 175-200 but if you're expecting that many people or more than it wouldn't matter.

You have nothing to worry about.
My reception was in the Briar Fox and it was perfect. Yes, the ceiling are low, but it in no way feels like a basement or gets smelly or gross. This is an upscale establishment here, haha. My wedding was in the middle of July, hottest day of the year on record and we had no temperature issues. Our dance floor was packed out all night and it was awesome - no sweat or smell issues, but I think that really depends on your guests. We invited close to 200 as well, you will have more No's that you expect, don't worry about it.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Hi girls- two requests:
1) can someone PLEASE FM me with a contact email at Fox Hollow...I have tons of small questions.

2) I'm working out my timeline (trying to coordinate a dinner show performance) and am curious as to what time the main course and dessert are served?

My guests will enter the WGP at 9:15.
I figure intros and first dance 9:30-9:45.
10:15-11pm live mariachi performance....does this sound right to you? Is/was dinner served an hour after arrival?

TIA!
