Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread
Questions for past Fox Hollow Brides..I'm doing my place cards & also filling out the guest lists...
Regarding the alphabetical guest list, do I have to put each guest on their own line , or can i do couples & families together...
for example --
Table Guest
#1 Amy & John Adams
#7 Joan,Steven & John Brentwood
etc...
This is the LAST thing i have to do.... making my final payment and bringing everything over there on Wed. night!!!

Hi girls!! I'm back and married!!
Fox Hollow was amazing! Everything was flawless! They were on top of everything and made sure everyone was happy. My Maitr'd was Mike and my bridal attendant Noelia. They were a great team and such a pleasure to work with. I didn't have to worry about a thing. I also had a DOC named Cynthia Ross who was just an angel!!! I couldn't have asked for a better day. The rain held out and I was happy about that. All my guests were raving about how good the food was and the cocktail hour. OMG!!! Everyone was just loving it!!
Non-Pro Pics in my album.
Thanks so all the girls on there who helped me with questions and suggestions. You all helped me have a smooth day!!
Thanks so much for sharing your pictures. I see your reception was in the Briar Fox...mine is too and i have been very concerned about this room. Did you have Oval tables or round? How many guests did you have? Was it crowded? Did it get too hot in that room? Did you think the ceilings were too low? Thanks so much
I had the round tables. In total we had 14 tables and 145 adults and 8 kids. It did get a little hot but it was because the temperature was in the 50s AND they had the fireplace going. My Maitr'd made sure to pump the AC all night long. The ceiling was fine, the only time that I worried that it was too low was when I was about to throw the bouquet. Otherwise the ceiling was fine. My fiance is pretty tall and usually complains about low ceilings but he was fine with it.
HTH!

Thanks again...do you think 145 was just enough or do you feel you could have fit more? Do you think it would have been too crowded if you had more poeple? Thank you again. I'm just concerned because we told them we were inviting close to 200 people and that is the room they gave us. I feel they should have given us the bigger room.

Ladies,A while back I saw someone posted the options for the cakes (including fillings). I just spent an hour looking across 206 pages and cannot seem to find it. Can anyone provide it?
I'd like to go stop by Egra and taste a few before making a decision.
Thanks!

Honestly, I think maybe 150 should be the max in that room. Since you have to keep in mind that the DJ or Band will also take up space and the waiters walking around. Plus the photo and video....it was just right. But keep in mind that even if you invite 200 people not everyone will come. We invited 185 and got 145 who showed up. If you think you will have more than 150, then try to get the bigger room.

They don't offer tastings.

Now i'm a little worried!! I was told the room held 180 max and that would translate into 170 comfortably. Hope I get lots of 'no's to push it down more towards 150
eta: Just realized you had round tables.. I think they fit more comfortably with oval ones..

Yes I totally agree with you.....the oval tables will be more comfortable. I preferred the round tables because I like how they look vs. the oval.
