lol yea but wouldnt be able to move. I put a call into Dave, hopefully he will call me back and be able to help.

P.S. I love your pictures!

Thank you!!

I do agree it would be a bit crowded...BUT if worse came to worse, it would be possible...but obviously you don't want it to come down to that!

Who would you go to in a situation like this??? I am not to thrilled with my BM. I just feel like another wedding booked in his book.

I found that the one I booked with, Dave, was not much help after I booked either. It took forever for him to get back to me, if at all. I then switched to talking to Annemarie, now Jennifer since Annemaire isn't there.

I am really freaking about the room and the amount of guests i have... I dont know why Ken would tell me that i can Fit 175 comfortably in the Briar Fox room, and 200 uncomfortable.

I have already sliced and diced my list to bare minimum invited 230 and even that will leave me with about 184 at a 20% negative.

Just wanted to let you know that the Briar Fox is not as small as it seems. We only had about 150, but could have fit 30 more people in there easily and without being crowded. We used the round tables, could have fit a lot more with oval. Take it from someone who's been there, it's not going to be a problem. It's honestly much better to have a smaller room full then to have a bigger room empty . Less people dance when there is more space on the dance floor as well.

Don't let anyone throw you into a panic, especially if they haven't even used the room and are just speculating. You'll be alright in that room. :) I was nervous at first too, but it was absolutely perfect and had the perfect feel for my wedding.

Hey Ladies,

Wednesday is suppose to be my hair and make-up trials. Problem is that my make-up artist has not returned my call the last 3 times I left messages and now I am not even sure my trial will happen, much less do I feel secure using her the day of my wedding. I can't sleep tonight and my stomach is a mess.

So, if I decide to find someone new I could really use your recommendations. I am getting marrie on July 12th so I need to find someone soon if I switch. I would need someone to come to the Fox Hollow Inn and do make-up for 8 or 9 of us in all. Anyone you can recommend?

TIA!

I'm using Jacqueline Nicole for makeup and Mya from Cosmetic Artistry for hair. Both vendors on here......I know Mya also does makeup but I had already booked my makeup b4 meeting with her.

Hey Ladies,

I went for my trial today and luckily it all worked out. I am going to stick with my make-up artist. The pics are in my album let me know what you think.

Thanks!!

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I had 151 people with round tables..it was fine.. not every table was full...we could have had more people and it still would have been fine... the room did not feel crowded at all..
I like the look of the round tables better for that room....

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

Candy Buffet Question...

For those of you who have had this and or want to have one. How did you go about clearing it with the fox hollow? I would bring the candy, the jars, and the scoops and bags for the guests to use, but I am assuming I need to clear this with the Fox Hollow first? Do I just call my BM now and ask or should/can I wait until we start going there for meetings?

Thanks for any input you may have.

I called and asked if we could do it and got told 'of course, dont think twice about it!'

we dropped everything off a few days before the wedding date.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

You can check it out, but I have a feeling that they do not allow it. I know they have a 'no party' policy which you will have to look into, but it wouldn't hurt to ask. I'm not sure of placed to really have an after party.

I'm not sure what type of place you were looking for, We were thinking of going to either Dave and Busters or 300 Bowling Alley... my only issue is by the time our party ends (12:30) they would be closing shortly after and we wouldn't really have a lot of time there.

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I have a feeling they're not going to allow it.. just the kind of hotel it is.. beautiful but a little stuffy.

We blocked rooms at the Best Western...most of the guests there were for our wedding..the night before the wedding we had about 20 people hanging out in one of the rooms -- we were pretty loud...noone complained..but then again all the guest were mostly there for us :)

You can probably do a BBQ or something in the courtyard. If you have it catered by Fox Hollow, I'm pretty sure they would allow it....though more food after such a celebration?

You might be better off an another location.
