I am having an afternoon wedding at Fox Hollow. I really want to do an afterparty in the courtyard/ pool area. has anyone else done this? or do you have any suggestions on anyother afterparty ideas? thanks

You can probably do a BBQ or something in the courtyard. If you have it catered by Fox Hollow, I'm pretty sure they would allow it....though more food after such a celebration?

You might be better off an another location.

ITA... we were so stuffed afterwards.. we were also supposed to all go out somewhere after, but everyone went back their rooms and passed out!! (i also had an afternoon wedding)

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

For all the brides using the Garden Pavillion Room at Fox Hollow, where did you put your head table. If you had it at the water fountain. Was it difficult getting to the dance floor??

Candy Buffet Question...

For those of you who have had this and or want to have one. How did you go about clearing it with the fox hollow? I would bring the candy, the jars, and the scoops and bags for the guests to use, but I am assuming I need to clear this with the Fox Hollow first? Do I just call my BM now and ask or should/can I wait until we start going there for meetings?

Thanks for any input you may have.

i don't know if this is easier for you but the fox hollow actually offers a candy buffet for $5 extra per person. they said basically they give you a list and you pick 20 candy's and they keep replenishing the candy bar.
$5 seems like a lot but when you try to do it separately it can really add up when doing the math just going through them was cheaper and a lot easier.

it really does add up, especially after buying all those jars....i think i might lean more towards having them just do it.

If you're looking for a bilingual DJ, Elegancia entertainment has AMAZING lighting and they are wonderful DJ's. You an also have them just do lighting.

Lots of girls also go through their florists, DJs and some even get lighting companies (much more $$$). My wedding is in Sept and Elegancia is doing my uplights in the Wintergarden, stay tuned

Re: FOX HOLLOW BRIDES - Question & Answer Thread

I was thinking about having my rehearsal dinner at the FH restaurant for 25 people but I don't know what the price range would be? Has anyone had their rehearsal dinner there? It would be on a Friday night.

Thanks!

Does Anyone know about Fox Hollows 'last minute rates'? Anyone plan a wedding at Fox hollow in a short amount of time? Wondering on Rates/deals. I am planning on having something for September but not sure on pricing. Do you think I am in way over my head for September? Advice needed : /

If there are any dates left, you should get a SICK deal! When I booked in September 08, I was offered something like $59 pp in April, $65 in May and $70 in June...basically the closer the date was the cheaper.

I would go for it, you can totally do it. You would have to order invitiations as soon as you book the date. And also your dress. It's possible! Go for it!
