I am the product of 2 greaseballs who came to this country for a better life

Sent me to a school with the majority of all white jewish kids who loatjed my very existence, I was teased from head to tow because we were poor and I didnt have expensive clothes. My one jewish friend stop being friends with me because I got a tatoo at 20 and was going to college because her jewish parents said I would never make it. Yeah well wanna hear something funny she a freaking manager at kids store. Big deal all that on a 4 year college degree.

I didn't know 'Jew' was derrogatory, I have heard my Jewish friends say that or ask that about others. I will be mindful now....

Not all Jewish people mind the term 'Jew'. But there are people who take offense when it is used with a certain tone. Then again, I have friends who take offense to the term, period - regardless of tone or context.

Exactly CP..and I was referring to the specific use in this thread, and if I was wrong about the tone implied I apologize. And Kate, yes, things that happened 6000 years ago don't fly now, but these people are an entire sect that have the right to lead the lives they do. Just like the Amish, just like Catholics, just like Protestants..that's all. Kate, who the heck was talking about Adam Sandler, I'm talking about blanket generalizations here.

Melissa, if the mail is put into the wrong box, its not the fault of your neighbors. Frankly, more often than not, I open all mail in my box without looking at the name, and only if I see that the letter inside is for someone else, would I put it back out. And guess where it would be -> On the floor, b/c I don't know who my neighbors are nor do I know their names.


Alina, why do you throw it on the floor?? why not put it back by the box??? when its on the floor it really makes it appear that you opened someone's mail maliciously and were looking for something.


I put in on the floor, b/c are mailboxes are kind of inside a wall, so that they can be openned by the postman, but when closed, there is nothing but flat space aligned with the wall and no ledge to put the mail on. Our hallway is tiny and short of putting mail on the floor, I am not so sure where else to put it'
