I'd say opening mail is a good way to get someones personal information, identity theft happens everyday.

And like I said before, I get countless letters from The Social Security Administration stating that the SS# I gave to them for a particular employee is NOT that employees. And it was not a typo. Upon investigation, it turns out to be another family members, a neighbors (yes that dumb), a complete strangers or possibly completely fabricated. The employee is usually long gone.

This is a fact.

And don't try to check the validity of a SS#, 'cause thats an invasion of privacy. How ironic.

are you assuming these people are illegal? also- how do you know for sure that they don't speak english? do you just assume they don't bc when they converse with one another, they speak in their native dialect as it is easier for them to communicate in their language as they THINK in their language. but i guess since they are in america they should be forced to speak to each other in english.

I think what is happening to you with the mail Withthisring, isn't the result of people being illegal, or immigrants...it's people being a$$holes. That right there is a whole other thread.

Feds Arrest 300 Workers at 61 Wal-Marts

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. officials arrested about 300 workers at 61 Wal-Mart Stores Inc. (WMT) locations on immigration charges as part of an investigation into contractor cleaning crews, U.S. officials said on Thursday.

They said the investigation, known as ``Operation Rollback,'' involved allegations the contractor had recruited illegal immigrants, mainly Eastern European nationals, to work on cleaning crews at the stores for the world's largest retailer.

A federal law enforcement official said some Wal-Mart executives had direct knowledge of the scheme, based on recorded conversations that have been made, surveillance and monitoring.

They said federal grand jury subpoenas have been issued for the Wal-Mart executives to testify. The executives were not identified.

Garrison Courtney, a spokesman for the Bureau of Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said the arrests in 21 states were part of a ``worksite enforcement'' effort.

``If a company knowingly hires illegal workers it can be penalized up to $10,000 per person,'' he said.

Most of the 300 workers belonged to contract cleaning crews, he said.

The latest arrests stemmed from two prior investigations by federal immigration officials involving contractors and Wal-Mart stores, one in 1998 and the other in 2001, the law enforcement official said.

The company did not immediately comment.

as far as the licence is concerend, I do not think she should be allowed to wear her berka ( I think thats what it is called) You can not wear a hat or sunglasses when taking your picture so this should be no different. And if a cop as to identify her as the person in the picture...how can they do that without her face showing???
