I would definatley do the cards with the new time, if needed. Don't re do your invites.

wait... I totally missed the part that it was a REHEARSAL after you. I thought it was another wedding! They HAVE to change that! Yours is a little more INVOLVED to change... it's your WEDDING! I'm sure the other girl can push hers back or ahead an HOUR with this much notice! If not, the church should wave their 'donation' since you would have to re-do your invitations! I guess we should all confirm EVERY TIME and EVERY DETAIL before the invitations go to print - even the ones that we can't IMAGINE would be wrong! Wow. Good lesson for us... I hope it works out for you!!!!

Yes! Learn from me girls, call your Churches/reception halls prior to having anything printed! Save yourself the headache!!! It should be a piece of cake changing the time with the vendors (if need be) but the invites are freaking me out!!!

seriously... this shouldn't even be a QUESTION of IF they can accomodate you for the church. They messed it up. They have to fix it. You already DID your invitations.

I hear sooooooo many horror stories about churches that screw people over, I feel so bad for you I am really sorry, I would go over her head and speak to the priest and then go to the archdiocese!!!! It's not fair that you loose $500 over this. I always wanted to get married in a church but everytime I hear things like this it makes me so mad and I become glad we decided not to! Keep us posted! They should be able to change that for you... it's a WEDDING. If anything, the rehearsal should be changed.

Yeah - really - It's a rehearsal - they really should reschedule that because they CAN reschedule a rehearsal. Try not to worry - if logic has anything to do with anything, they will do the right thing here.

Why can't the church switch the rehersal time to 5pm??? It's just a rehersal and I think any bride would be ok with that!

Too bad you can't talk to the bride directly and explain your dilemma, I'm sure they'd be easier to work with than the church.

Did you tell the church ti was their mistake? You should really talk to the higher ups of the church about this! You should NOT have to pay for al new invites thats so WRONG!

That brides a B&^$! if she doesn't let it happen. So what if OOTers can't make the rehearsal! Leave the dinner the same time, just rehearse earlier in the day. Seriously, that girl has issues if she doesn't conceed.
