OMG they church should provide somesort of reimbursement for your invites....but I know wishful thinking

That is the most horrible thing that i have ever heard. I am doing a rain dance for you right now.

I don't want to take away from alnem's predicament, because it's stressful. There's no need in focusing on the negative though. It's messed up, but she's done all she can and her wedding will still happen and I'm positive it will be beautiful. Karma is real and wishing another bride a bad day can't be good for anyone.

But this is not, by far the most 'horrible thing' that could happen and if it's that for you, you are very lucky and haven't experienced tragedy. Click on this link...this should show you that there are far worse things that could happen in life.

then I wouldn't be able to preserve it and cherish it forever. honestly, its okay girls. i'll work it out...somehow. but sasha put things into perspective and reminded us not to sweat the 'little' things (although larger when it's happening to you

Oh no! Maybe you can talk to the other bride yourself and she'll be more amendable to changing her rehearsal time. Besides, noone send out invites for rehearsals so it shouldn't be a big deal!

But, and this has been my saving grace as of late, everything happens for a reason. So while you may not see it now, perhaps it'll make sense for you later. Maybe you're meant to get married at 5pm!

yes girls! i'm 100% happily married. the 5pm wedding worked out just fine...actually, it worked out better than 6pm because by 6pm that day it started raining! so God did what he did for a reason. thanks though!
