I still have to talk to FH about the Jewels,we will see-Hopefully he will change his mind, I keep telling him we could go on a nice honeymoon instead but he would rather have the seafood-I can't figure it out!

Since they didn't have the lobster & couscous at our tasting forever ago, I didn't even know about it. CKJ you're having pasta too? Did they charge you for that??

It's an upgrade, maybe thats why??
We booked in Feb of 05..you?

Do you think the lobster is going to be a hit?
I'm so afraid, I feel like it's not going to be, but it sounds good and looks good! It was at our tasting either, but when we finalized the menu we saw a picture.

The lobster wasn't at our tasting either, I didn't know about it until we got our finalized paperwork ..6 weeks before the wedding. Did you go for that yet? Your menu, linens and all that stuff. I thought the lobster was extra, theres a bunch of stuff for the combo meal that wasnt at the tasting, that you can pick.

Yes we are having pasta, just plain no ravioli or anything. What about you? They are charging us i think 3.00 a dish We already upgraded for the chilian and the jewels of the sea...IMO i think they could have thrown something in

Oh i'm so glad to see someone else isn't have chicken either! I was so nervous not to pick it, they really pushed us away from it they said no one really gets it you can always have chicken so we went for the porkchop! It was great at the tasting!

I'm thinking of also doing the mushroom strudel as the veggie meal b/c i had veggie lasgana and it doesnt make sense to have two pastas on the menu. The mushroom plate at the tasting was just very mushroomy..did you notice that??

They were gonna charge us a fortune to add the chilean seabass so we're skipping it. We already got the jewels of the sea.
I liked the mushroom strudel but everyone seems to think the lobster will be awesome (even though we didn't try it).
I'm going to meet with them on August 18 to go over everything and try and come up with a fish option we're happy with.
We went with the veggie lasagna b/c that's what my cousin wanted and she's the only veggie I know is coming :O)

we are going for our tasting on August 20th. is there anything else i should inquire about? i know to ask about the lobster (thats a combo, right?), the chilean sea bass, what else, any ideas?

Actually it wasn't mushroomy at all, that's why everyone liked it!

Cal the pork chop is great, did you guys try that at the tasting? I thought the Filiot Migion was out of this world, am I the only one?!

Can you do just the chocolate fountain or you have to do the whole v. hour?? I dont want ppl going back into the ct room thats why i decided against it, but its still up in the air

It I just see that the chocolate fountain is $4.00 a person??? Damn I was really considering adding it....how do they do that if you are not going with the Viennese hour?
