cool--it would probably cost me 50 bucks to make them myself anyway...so might as well have them do it.
That what I figured - between paper and an ink cartridge. Also avoids any possible disagreements I may have with my printer

They provide menus for the tables. Not one for each person, there are two on the table. I am not doing one per person. Florinda told me that there are already two, plus the waitress goes over the meal w/ the guests.I saw the CT stations on the website just thought someone had pictures from past weddings.

I am getting married at Flowerfields at the begnning of November. Does anyone know if they give you placecards and if they do what they look like?

no idea what the place cards look like-- sorry. but i'm so glad that i just found out about the menu cards at each setting!!!!! YAY ONLY 50 bucks!!!

They are just plain ol' creme or white colored placecards with a gold border. Very simple. They suggest you print clear labels and then attach them to the placecard. We decided to just make our own so we can print right onto the card itself.

The placecards are a little boring. What I did was go to AC Moore and pick up some small colorful autumn leaf stickers to add to the placecards to spice them up some. The stickers were 1.94 for a package of 30!

Is anyone doing the Jewels of the Sea, this is the one fight that FH and I have had, he wants it and I can't seem to spend all that money...What are your thoughts?

My mom is really for the Jewels of the Sea, but the lowest they will go is 12PP and its getting me so mad. We are spending so much and they can't throw anything in or drop the price of something!? Everything is an upgrade and the upgrades arent cheap.I heard its supposed to be a great station, we still havent decided yet what we are doing. I need to make the decision soon.

We decided to go for it. I went to a wedding at Tribeca Rooftop where they had it (also a Lovin Oven venue) and it was amazing. Everyone was raving. I agree, the price is out of hand, but at 12pp you did better than we did. We went with a Sunday night wedding so we would have room for these kinds of upgrades

Such drama with the Jewels...we really wanted to do it but really can't justify the extra expense. I think I have accepted it finally....45 days. can't believe it.I think 69 is the next FF bride, no?
I bought beautiful champagne metallic paper for my menus and table numbers....all i have to do is think of something cool for the placecards.

We're going to end up with over 200 guests and the dessert carts concerned me. Only 2 carts? I wanted to see if they could make some cookie plates for the tables as well. I really wanted to do the chocolate fountain but that was another thing that was really expensive!
We're going over our menu and everything in a few weeks, maybe I will see what else we can squeeze in there!

the chocolate fountain costs $4 extra per person (i think), for $4 more we are getting every dessert station. look in the original folder they gave you with all the menu options, the prices are there for the extra dessert options.I know only 2 dessert carts, it will take forever to get around. You also have the other option, with the sllice of cake, strawberry and a tart served individually.
