I feel like im lost. I have the major things booked but what are the little things. I hear so much on this website. Do we actually have to make up the the menus for the tables and the table numbers. I thought the hall would provide it. We are getting married at the FLoral Terrace!! Can someone make a list of the little things to do so I dont feel so Lost.....Thanks SO much!

well i just posted a list. you do not have to make menu's if you dont want to. Your hall will have numbers to use if you are looking to no personalize them.

Find out if your church allows real rice to be thrown...if not, start thinking about an alternative. Also, how will you hand out the rice or alternative after the ceremony?

You don't HAVE to do ceremony programs if you don't want to. I may do them since there will a handful of non-Greeks at the church. Plus, they make nice mementos.

Also, some limo companies will provide an aisle runner, so you don't have to buy one yourself unless you want it customized.

Ordered our invitations on Friday, got the email proof today and sent it back with 2 minor wording changes. I'll post a pic when I can.

So glad to cross something else off the list!!

Yeah, Kimbalina - thanks for making me dizzy and about to pass out!

Well, I've booked the DJ - whoo hoo!, got my shoes and my DOJ. I still have to get off my lazy butt and call an officiant, FH has to gather his boys and go to Jersey to get measured for and order their Kilts and me & FH have to pick out cake flavours/designs. Also, 2 of my BMs haven't ordered their dresses yet (the bridal shop is holding the whole order until they do) - should I be worried or do they have enough time?

Ooh and I still have to do something about hair/makeup.

I am making a list of all the 'little things' that I have to do.. and 197 days seems like enough time to do them.. HOWEVER, it feels like it might be rough to get the money to pay off the wedding before hand! So I am budgeting today and making list!!

Let's see.. 3 BMs ordered their dresses. 2 or 3 more are ordering them tomorrow. We registered for Pre-Cana and start on the 6th. I am trying soo hard to tackle my DIY's--Table numbers, invites, menus, and still have to finish the cardbox.. I just feel so overwhelmed.. I need to make a to do list.

im ontop of the invite list... too bad FMIL is slacking and at this point if she doesnt get things to me in due time and with all correction made, thats ON HER. (this was the same bs withthe announcements.. and i dont kno why she cant get things done NOW... shes not working... shes home all day.. also if the list is the SAME for the invites why is it soo difficult to give me an edited list?)

Deb I hear you on the ordering of the dress for the MOB and FMIL (at least for me) my FMIL has not found the dress. Mainly because I dont want her to wear black,, the bridesmaids are wearing black and I dont want her to blend in,,

I really wish she would find it already
