I'm doing fine, thanks for asking! We're on the hunt for invites, as it seems everyone else is, as well. Aside from that most of the drama is done with, and I'm just excited :)I haven't found a hair/makeup person yet - but I'm not worried - we have time.

Going absolutely crazy here!! We're living in between 2 apartments at the moment. We just moved into our new apartment, but are still cleaning and moving out boxes from the old one. I kept the internet hooked up here at the old place, since I have very limited internet access at work (elementary school).
I've been in LIW withdrawal all week!!!!!!!!!
I'm in the old apt right now clearing out more things, just signed online, and saw this:

We're under 200!!!!!!! And still soooooo much to do!!!!!!!
FH is working crazy hours this month and I'll be helping him this weekend, so wedding planning has taken a backseat for the past month. I feel sooooo far behind!!!!!!! Hopefully we'll have internet access at the new apt by next Tuesday, so I'll feel more in control of the planning. Right now it's all up in the air! At least I have off from work next week and hope to get a few things done.
My goal is to order invitations by the end of the month. Narrowed down to 2 designs. It's just a matter of picking one and deciding on wording. I'm also trying to schedule my shower with my sisters for sometime in Sept, since my parents moved away and I'll know when things will be (no surprises here, trying to work around too many people's schedules). Oh, and I want to finally head over to Tri County to check out veils and hairpins. And finally book a florist. OK, I'm making myself crazy here!!!
I'll try to check in here in a few days, the next time I'm in the old apt. Can't wait until we get the internet hooked up in the new place!!!
Hope everyone's doing well here!!!!! Almost 6 months to go!!!!!

Invites, programs, menus, place cards and table #'s - Designed, just need to purchase materials and start printing/assembling.
Still to do:
Research wholesale flowers for DIY bo-k's
FH needs to take GM(s) to NJ for Kilt fitting/reservations
Arrange makeup person
Arrange hair person
Arrange officiant (
)Buy Rings
Decide/purchase BP gifts
Decide on what to do for centerpieces
ETA: DOJ jewelry

you are doing a lot better than I am!! we are still below budget but budget was freakin high. if i could get it to 50 or 60k i'd be happy... heck, 40K and i'll do a gig!!

In all honesty, I didn't even start with a budget -we're that broke. Just tried to find the cheapest hall, the cheapest caterer, etc and just started dropping deposits down on stuff with the notion that we'd save and figure something out by November. So yeah, the (literally) not having any money thing helped keep costs down
But we've been blessed as FBIL is gifting us enough to just about cover the hall and the caterer so I'm breathing a lot easier now.
(I forgot to add to my list above - Order Cake!!!)

Put a deposit on invites 3 weeks ago and am waiting to see the 2nd round of proofs (we're asking for some special formatting, so it's taking a long time)
Yesterday I set a date with our photographer for our engagement shoot...Saturday, May 24! (which happens to be our 1 year anniversary of getting engaged)
Tonight we're scheduled to book our honeymoon
Need to get my MOH and FG to order their dresses soon
So, pretty much smooth sailing, BUT...
Yesterday I called to check on the status of my dress, and got a lot of confusion on the part of the store, so I'm REALLY REALLY worried

Hi girls,I feel like im lost. I have the major things booked but what are the little things. I hear so much on this website. Do we actually have to make up the the menus for the tables and the table numbers. I thought the hall would provide it. We are getting married at the FLoral Terrace!! My flowers were booked last weekMy invites will be ordered at the end of this week. Was going to be last friday, however FH is taking forever to get me addresses
And tonight we're heading over to Fox Hollow to discuss/book our RD. We blocked rooms there for our guests, and its just more convenient having it there since our OOTers and BP will be staying there the night before
