I have everything ready to go- I think- lol
We are getting married at the Coral House in Baldwin. It is so nice- dont see many wedding there on the boards here-
and I cant believe that it is only 8 months away now. It is going to be here before we all now it.

dont know if I want to cry or jump for joy lol

what colors are you all doing?

i love Fall colors, but I don't plan to go all out with them...just a little dark red here, dark orange there, some gold interspersed, no brown actually.

Since I am after thanksgiving, i went with more christmasy colors- girls dresses are burgundy....i don't really have a color scheme though

8 Months -- try 7!!!!!!!! Don't foreget we don't get the month of Nov since we are getting married on the first!!!!!!!! I am leaning more towards the crying then the jumping

For limos I recommend Royalty.

For flowers, I recommend my place, East Williston Florists - they're a local florist in Mineola, but always have great flowers.

lets share pictures, ideas, and just help us out.. this is OUR month!

girls we should have 90% of this done already!
Prepare preliminary guest list
Set final budget
Select a ceremony location
Select a reception location
Select an officiant
Select a photographer
Select a videographer
Finalize color scheme or wedding theme
Think about what you want your centerpieces and bouquets to look like
Meet with different bands or DJ’s and select one
Select and ask bridal party members
Groom – select and ask groomsmen and best man
Think about what stores you want to have a registry in
Order your wedding gown
Order bridesmaids gowns
Begin your honeymoon research and come up with ideas on where you want to go
Schedule hair trials
Schedule makeup trials
Start wedding fitness program
Start looking for a new place to live

this is waht should be worked on AT LEAST 9 months before (that means NOW)
Select a florist (bring pictures and floral ideas to appointments)
Meet with and book a ceremony musician
Select cocktail hour musician
Send bridesmaid newsletter to keep them up to date on everything
Create your registry at the stores you selected
Book your honeymoon
Finalize guest list
Select and order invitations
Purchase stamps for invitations (have them weighed)
Purchase or make envelope seals to seal the back of the invitations with
Order mother of the bride/groom dresses
Give all vendor information to DOC (address, contracts, phone numbers, etc.)
Purchase tiara/headpiece/hairpins
Purchase veil
Finalize who will be doing your wedding day hair (let them know if mother of the bride and bridesmaids will also be requiring their services)
Finalize who will be doing your wedding day makeup (let them know if mother of the bride and bridesmaids will also be requiring their services)
