I know!!! that was quick,, but wedding world told me 10-14 business days and it was exactly with in that!!!

yesterday i bought my veil and headpiece from Barrons!

great!!!

next thursday at BR in MAss they are having a headpeice and veil show... me and mommy are going...

ETA: hopefully i can get something and if not have the associates help me considering my dress is also there as well...

im anxious and nervous/ scared at teh same time!!!

I've been so swamped with end-of-the-school-year things, my sister's baby shower, and my parents visiting from Florida this week, that I sorta put wedding planning on hold. What's really bad is when people at work and friends have asked, 'so, how's wedding planning going?' and I've almost answered, 'it's on hold.' That wouldn't have sounded right!!!

Anyway, I did manage to check a few things off of my list:

FH's mom recently got her dress.
My mom got her dress this past week here in NY.
My mom and I went today to Tri-County and I bought hair pins and ordered my veil at Barrons.

Thanks to all who recommended Barrons! I looked through yards of lace samples and was able to choose exactly what I wanted and have it custom-made! It should be ready in the middle of August.

It will be 2 tiers with a variation of the same thin lace trim on each tier to create a scalloped edging. I didn't want a tiara, so I got 5 crystal/rhinestone hairpins in a star-flower shape that match the crystals on my dress. I brought close-up pics of my dress and we matched the lace that way.

I'm just waiting for this Thursday, June 26th, sometime after 12pm, when we're allowed to leave after we dismiss the kids on the last day of school.........and then........... school's out for summer!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then it's WEDDING PLANNING CRUNCH TIME!!!!!!!!!!! So much to do!!!!

omg i kno it IS crunch time...

congrats on getting so much done!!!

i too have actually ANSWERED 'oh its onhold for now' and i get scared faces.. but then i have to say no no .. bc im busy.. not bc its ON hold..

i kno my showere is ACTIVLY being planned.. and ikno the BM are talking to my mom!!!

SOOOOO exciting!

i have to get my tush in gear and just buy the BP gifts for the girls... i just HAVE to do it already...

yey congrats girls!

Tomorrow is my 5 month mark- where is the time going- seemed like just yesterday I have a year- invites are here and I am going over final guest list next week with fmil and my mom- hope to get they to be addressed by 7 of July- she will have them for a couple of weeks them put them together and out of here by end of august!!! wow it really is going fast and my list is not getting smaller I keep finding more things to add to- nite ladies chat with you all tomorrow!!!!
