You just need to bring the packet. And a pen and paper - write everything down or you will forget it later!
ETA: oh and they ask for a copy of your invitation.

Re: Thatched cottage thread
no extras. i feel like you get so much already that there really isnt a need. (and i am on a tight budget!)these are all the major choice we made on the arrangement sheet! what do you think?!?!
we are doing the free upgrade to the ice cream sundae flambe.
picked the mashed potato bar and greek station instead on chaffing dishes
picked prime rib with ajus and duckling (fh choice) for the other meals on top of the five
marble cake with chocolate raspberry mousse filling, white buttercream frosting
pasta station - orecchiette carbonara and raditori pomodoro
carving stations - seven spice pork dragon and roasted turkey
crepe stations - fresh fruit and florentine
wok station- chicken
appetizer/salad combo plate - raspberry
white table cloths with royal napkins
quarter round skirted table with two seperate chairs
GeeGee - I attached the invitation when I faxed it over just now. Do you need to bring the half the payment to the final meeting??
did anyone pay to show up more than an hour early?? i just want to get there to take pictures and want to make sure there is enough time! but i don't want to pay

Re: Thatched cottage thread
also, do you get to pick the hors douvres or do they just randomlly pick which ones they do from the list. we were told 35 were passed during the cocktail hour, but the sheet doesnt give a spot to pick them. i'm sure what ever ones they do are fine, but can you request a few that you want or don't want?

Re: Thatched cottage thread
we are doing the hospitality half hour before the ceremony. so getting there the hour early and then having the extra half hour to do pictures and maybe some during the cocktail hour...will that be enough?

Re: Thatched cottage thread
Hey ladies,This is my first post even though I check the thread all the time. I am the ultimate procrastinator, four months out and the only thing booked is TC and my DJ (seriously, I haven't even ordered my dress yet ). So I'm finally getting into serious planning mode and have random questions:
- If you're getting married outside at the gazebo, are you doing any additional decorating (aisle ends, etc)?
- Are you decorating or adding personal touches to the reception area?
- Since you can only get there an hour early, are you taking pics somewhere else earlier or just going to take as many pics as possible before guests arrive and the rest during cocktail hour?
- Is anyone having a photo booth and where are you putting it?
I look forward to hearing from you guys.
Thanks a mil
